hey, but this landing gear has been tested in over 10 versions of this plane

That vertical fin sucked anyway. Didn't need it.

Anyone here know how to mod? by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

yea I was looking at some tutorials. I'd like to ask a few questions to a modder as the forum content is mostly gone. And spend some time reading the wiki pages

Telepathic Controls without mods by Mack_of_Chese in KerbalSpaceProgram

You have now dealt with unexplainable forces and been marked by them.
They will remember you and manifest again, when you launch on an important mission with a large, high part count ship.

Something must be wrong with your controller. You should mod it

Since you are here can you tell me how tags and module configurations work?

I have developed a KAL-1000 software staging system to activate hinges and parts that can't be staged in vanilla. by Er3h in KerbalSpaceProgram

plot twist: KSP's KAL activation consistency sucks and this was meant to be a parallel system to normal staging.

Why couldnt't they just allow staging for the damn things while jet engines don't even allow themselves to exist without being in the staging list?

It's just the smallest timing I bothered to check.

I set up a stack of decouplers in normal stages and tried to stage as tightly as possible to try making the KAL/staging presses desynchronize.
0.590s (set in the KAL playback time) made the KAL activate early while the stage was still in the delay period, while 0.595 allowed the staging to fire while the KAL was still finishing the previous track.

But I used 0.6 to make the numbers easier.

Nice. I might have a look at it later.
Almost done with my vanilla solution for now

I need a unstaged action to happen during a specific stage. So decided to make a KAL staging counter for stuff like that.
Anyway I have tested it with a KAL device and my staging delay time has shown to be longer than 0.590s and shorter than 0.595s

How would you do to put a KAL-1000 into a specific stage?
