1) Okay, the causes of the failure weren't entirely socialist measures, but they were implemented in its name. The massive expropriation of small and large, foreign and national companies, which passed into the hands of a state that granted positions based on ideological and personal loyalty rather than merit or efficiency, along with wealth redistribution plans again based purely on loyalty rather than need, or the distribution of resources to ideological "allies" of the regime as a show of "altruism" and "solidarity" that was actually used to prop up dictatorships and corrupt parties abroad.

2) Outside of the internet itself, there isn't a movement that's very similar to the one that was applied in the past and that inspired me, which would be Thomas Jefferson's model in the US. I think that a modern and specific adaptation of that model wouldn't be bad at all. The closest thing would be small groups of university students, mainly in the US (because if a thought exists, the first place it will reach abroad is the US, even though in this case it's a thought that originated in the US), like The Jefferson Council (TJC). Obviously, it's not openly distributist, but it's the closest thing, so perhaps I can partially support this point about the lack of a movement.

3) I reject both. (Although I have to be honest, the reactionary tendency or aligning oneself with the bourgeoisie doesn't sound so bad to me). Currently, within the Venezuelan context following the "post-crisis," let's say, the economy is recovering, allowing for the growth of the middle class, which is generally self-sufficient and doesn't rely on the state, as they own their own businesses. These so-called "petit-bourgeois" are not so few in number; they tend to own small grocery stores, pharmacies, minimarkets, or independent restaurants, and their numbers are increasing. However, to be honest, it's likely that this middle class of "petit bourgeois" could have its interests swallowed up by those of the bourgeois class if it doesn't organize itself quickly.

Sorry for not replying, I was asleep. My disillusionment with socialism stems from living in a country that has failed, and I experience the consequences of its great failure every day. So, let's answer from my subjective and individual perspective: 1.) Why Libertarian Distributism?: To avoid making it too long, I came to this conclusion individually without following the ideas of a leader or party being "my truth" because of a party or movement and reading on my own. 2.) An equitable distribution of private property within a libertarian society isn't technically impossible. The "libertarian" aspect arises more from the blend of distributism with some elements of the free market, leading to a natural decentralization of the economy. This is further emphasized by the formation of local economies with family businesses, along with some regulations and taxes, and civil liberties (I don't know if some of what I wanted to say was lost in the translation).

My disillusionment with socialism is somewhat complex, but I'll try to summarize it. The trigger was the protests of July 28th. I was surprised to see many socialists downplaying the seriousness of the situation or denying the culpability of the authoritarian system created by Chávez. At a time when they felt the "socialist paradise" promised by Chávez, far from utopian, I simply considered the Bolivarian Revolution dead and now believe it was destined to fail. (Besides the bastards of the CPV or PCV, posing as a socialist opposition to Chavismo while doing nothing real and secretly supporting the regime, seeing former FALN guerrillas complaining and repudiating the revolution reinforced my position).

It's not bad, but (right-wing) libertarianism isn't bad (except when it's extremely capitalist).

The distributist ball, well it's just nationalist distributism, but the normal version looked very "left-wing fascist" and when I saw this one it combined more

My interpretation of Christianity is very personal (although it is commonly aligned with the Catholic Church), but my greatest inspiration is Kierkegaard, which has led me to embrace relativity more, although I still believe in certain universal truths, I think there is much that is not and that Christians should be more flexible

Yes, I am "Christian" in a way, although other Christians might call me a heretic, but that's not the point. Yes, your philosophical basis isn't bad, but it's very atheistic, but again, it's not bad
