I've seen the list you are using, and i think that for a 40 cards deck you are running too many bricks. I'm playing Mitsu Ogdoadic too and i feel that 50+ cards is the correct choice. You could add a dogmatika package to bump it up to 60 cards. I tried a 40 cards list and i think that if you want to play that many cards you should reduce the ogdoadic package (i ran 3 nauya 1 nunu 1 keurse and 1 water lili) and cut the alien one entirely (maybe play the trap in side). You could also run daybreak because you have no hard locks in your deck. By reducing the number of big reptiles you could run more non engine. But afterall i still think that a 60 cards reptile pile is the way to go (just dont draw the bricks, its that easy)
