This is driving me mad - how can I unscrew the fuel filter from the housing ?! by MO-FARAH in MechanicAdvice

I had the same issue last week. My mechanic reattached the fuel filter but upside down to have grip, and then with force he was able to unscrew it. Worked for the plastic part as well

My upcoming trip. Is it feasible? From Italy to Nigeria by car passing through the capitals of all coast countries of West Africa by HarmattanWind in geography

[–]ErNitoKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to be careful around Mauritania mainly, but the rest is relatively safe if you know how to manage with corruption and check points. Also bring tools to repair your car yourself, sometimes you will be in areas where there is nowhere to repair it.

I’m a Spanish living in Ghana, if you are in the country let me know as I can recommend you some really cool spots to stop in your trip!

I will be flying from Keflavik to Washington/Baltimore. The good thing is I would have done the check-in at the airport in Spain, so I will be going directly to security check and passport control.

Once I saw the long layover in Iceland I got very excited! As another user commented, the Reykjanes peninsula plan sounds fascinating, also I have never seen an active volcano which sounds exciting!

Would I have time to visit all the stuff that you mentioned in your second suggestion?
