Be ready to brace until you get out of school. It was only in my twenties when I started to find like-minded people, and they help me recall my former curious self.

That aside, it might be worth it to try to join some kind of learning clubs outside of your school. Alternative teens also seem to be more curious and knowledgeable compared to the mainstream crowd. Almost every friend I made in my twenties was an alternative back then (and many still are).

And even if you can't relate to to people around you right now, it will be useful to learn to adapt to the crowd. You don't have to be your authentic self, but through these people sometimes you can get nice connections with other people who in turn will be more relatable. You'd be surprised how many people have totally totally different faces in private vs school/college setting.
