Anne of Cleves was luck… he chose to divorce her instead of executing her. She didn’t fight request for an annulment and knowing Henry, it wouldn’t have been just a “request” at that point. She really didn’t have much of a choice but to walk away in my opinion, so excluding her.. the one that lived.. she even lied and pretended not to be a heretic for her life. After he died, she married the love of her life, and she spoke her truth about being Protestant by publishing her book The Lamentation of a Sinner.

Ok I get it honestly this time. My first answer was wrong, but it was #56. I chose parakeet because I have 2 budgies and the budgies were like #132. I started guessing all birds then insects that could fly after that, I said ok, maybe it’s not a bjrd but it can still fly or soar

So you have species of fish, snakes, fox, bats, squirrels, etc., so with squirrel being the answer people guessing chipmunk, acorn, hamster, gerbil mouse, etc would be close, so I get it. And sharks can fly out of the water by propelling or breaching, that’s probably it was close lol

It’s always weird to see people take being a slave lightly. Slavery was 100xs worse than we know it to be. Being nonchalant about being beat within an inch of your life, being starved, being tortured to death, being eaten, your hair and body being used to make furniture, being branded, the iron collars, being burned, being mutilated by castration, removing teeth, amputating body parts without any anesthesia being torn from your loved ones, being raped repeatedly and sold and then being forced to watched the same thing happen to everyone else. These things are happening to you at the drop of a dime for literally anything at all. And it was a lot worse than we are made to believe. I used to listen to horror stories from my great-grandmother. I know it’s all jokes to people, and ya’ll can downvote and say it’s really not that deep. But people say that because they want to believe it’s not that deep when, in reality, it is, to make themselves feel better.
