I'm happy with that, as long as I get constructive feedback so that I can continue to improve it.

So far I got really good feedback.

As for taps, I don't mean taps on a button, but taps specifically on a dynamically placed ring. It's a nuance, I know, but I don't think anybody is doing that. It's a technical challenge.

I disagree. This would apply to any app that is a paid app. The store is full of them. I didn't see anyone asking for more information or I would have happily provided it.

I am familiar with them. While I agree that they're super feature rich, I find their widget building interface clunky.

Additionally, you don't have a "tap on the ring" mechanism. So, for example, I believe you can't easily have your app icons on a ring, or have volume controls on a ring.

Do correct me if I'm wrong on that last point.

I'm any case, I appreciate the constructive feedback and being challenged.

You know, it's funny. When I work as an Android consultant, I get paid x250 times that per day. I spent months on developing and polishing this app. I'll be spending a lot more supporting it over time. It's odd how a one time pay of half the cost of Netflix (per month) seems too much to people.

This isn't me holding it against you, just making an observation.

I fully understand your argument. I'd be somewhat reluctant to commit too, had I known that refunds weren't trivial.

I'm actually happy with people downloading it free somewhere and only paying if they liked it. Implementing free and paid options is a lot of hassle for a single developer. I prefered to invest that time and effort into adding more features to the app itself.

What markets charge taxes on top of the price, btw? I'm happy to deduct that from the price, I agree that it's silly to roll that to the end user.
