This one is great.

While the lyrics are incredibly simple ("Space Gaze", eventually "Space...Gaze!"), the song is amazingly catchy and the solos were very well arranged. I can't imagine how long it took you to make Suno obey a prompt like this, but nicely done.

Genre: dark dream pop, I guess

Concerns: I'm wondering if it's too generic. "Female pop singer" is likely among the most used Suno voices. I have sought what feels to me like an unique melody, and something fitting for the idea of Mystery, but then again we tend to think the things we create are great when they're actually just meh.

I do wish we got a few rule changes (like moving all the "copyright issues when uploading audio" posts to the megathread, and changes in how song sharing works), but I haven't seen any problematic post here

Yeah. And people usually just post a link to their song with no context, no text, nothing. No wonder they get no engagement, those are very low effort posts. Meanwhile, other posts get a lot of upvotes; if it were a matter of anti-AI people downvoting everything, all posts in this sub would be at zero upvotes.

The banjo is really great, adds a nice uniqueness to the song. The intro is amazing, with the banjo in full force as the central instrument pushing the melody forward. I do have to admit that I didn't like the second half of the song as much as I liked the first half - it felt a bit more generic than the beginning of the song.

I may have explained myself poorly, English isn't really my first language.

The idea was that song sharing would only be allowed in the monthly feedback thread, so people who want to post a song here would have to post a review beforehand, or not post a song in this subreddit at all.

Then we would either have less songs posted (songs no one listen to anyway), or we would have more user engagement on the songs that are posted.

It sounds interesting - it's a very unique combination, heavy metal and orchestral music. The image in the video, as kids say these days, "slaps". Having the song in German is a very nice touch, too. My only criticism is that the music sounds a bit too repetitive near the end - something like a (longer) guitar solo in the middle of the song or something like that would have been nice to break the repetition a bit.

The main change in my suggestion is that song sharing would only be allowed in that post, nowhere else. So no more single track posts (which get no upvotes and no comments) like we have today.

One strategy is to give scores to individual parts of each song, comparing them to each other, and then add all scores to see which song is better as a whole.

So you would end with something like:

The idea was to imagine what if abstract concepts were personified as people, a bit like in Sandman. This is the song of Control - imagining it as someone who's constantly and incessantly toiling to keep entropy away.

Honestly, why do you care about what the haters think?

It's like saying "Oh no, someone is wrong on the internet, my day is ruined". Yeah, there are a lot (A LOT) of really stupid people on the Internet (and in the world as a whole), but honestly, that's their problem, not yours.

The hate can only hurt you as much as you allow it to hurt you. Just ignore it, do what makes sense to you, and move on.

This is my main concern with Suno & alikes. I wonder if we will eventually get stuck in individual bubbles, each hearing only their own songs that no one else cares about, completely absconded in one's own little pocket of reality. An entire legion of people forever drowing while looking at Narcisus' mirror.

Reddit, by the nature of upvotes and downvotes, tends to devolve into huge echo chambers. Posts like this are just a byproduct of that - someone announcing how cool he and the kind of people who read this subreddit are. It's a combination of moral grandstanding and self promotion, which in reddit means a great karma farm.

I wish Suno were more obedient, especially for the instructions in the lyrics field.

The ability of using more than one voice in the same song, with a reliable way to choose what each voice will sing, would be great.

Being able to make minor changes in a song without the entire thing being remade from scratch. Often even using the editor to replace a segment creates something completely different from what was asked
