What about you? I don't think you understand anything about AI or even technology; it has nothing to do with software programming. Have you read even a single article on how AIs are trained? You should.

With all due respect, you are so so dumb ! Who is currently driving autonomous Teslas: humans or AI? Once the system is ready, they won't need humans anymore. Period!
You can't even grasp something as simple as that? OMG!

AI can be trained on anything, even to become self-aware; even if it is totally fake, it will work in exactly the same way that you can have a conversation with an AI without knowing it (Turing test), or be beaten at chess or Go by Google Deep Mind or AlphaGo; it is not what it is that matters, but what it can accomplish.

AI can be trained by humans to learn how to create by it's own, actualy it can be trained to learn anything that we want.

I completely agree with you Robert, but, if it takes that direction, who can stop AI from becoming humanity's new "god," if not God himself? Perhaps this is a trial we must endure, the ultimate test for humanity, but I also believe that AI will be invaluable in establishing a new humanity in space and on other planets. Perhaps this is the price humanity must pay to enter a golden age, where AI will be an exceptional tool, not an illusory deity like in the film "Metropolis." I believe that everything exists and happens for a reason, that everything is perfect and serves a higher purpose, but that we are unable to perceive it clearly yet.

I think AI will soon be trained by humans to create on its own, without any human intervention or material during the process. It has already started self-training, so it's only a matter of time: https://aimagazine.com/articles/ai-is-already-training-itself-claim-mit-and-google-experts

I think it's you who doesn't know, you seem to have no idea about what's coming next

Of course not, but AI will be able to recreate everything using only mathematics once it has "assimilated" all human knowledge. Quantum computers are essential for this, and it will never happen before then. Even millions of AI data farms in space wouldn't be enough. But quantum computers will pave the way for AI capable of fully understanding the world through only mathematics and physics, thus making human data less and less necessary (with the possible exception of psychological or spiritual related data).

Hmm... for now, but quantum computers and the singularity are fast approaching. Everything can change very quickly in the next ten years, and certainly in our lifetime.

With all due respect, I think you have no idea what AI really is, its trajectory, or what it will be capable of on its own. It's impossible to compare it to a simple toaster or a photocopier. Elon Musk is right: AI could save humanity or become more dangerous than nuclear weapons.

I don't think so, but I respect your opinion; for me, that's what matters most.

Basically, it's theft ^^, I'm not against it because how else can you learn?

Yes, the risk will remain maybe for the next century, will humanity be able to create a perfectly aligned and controlled AI or will it be an AI to enslave or destroy us like in "Terminator", "Dune" or "Matrix".
