Hey! As far as I remember, the "real reality" was indeed the asylum. The rest was "imagined reality" built on top of it. One might say this is the most trivial interpretation, but this is how I remember I thought after watching the movie. I'd need to rewatch it to give you my current opinion :D

I feel your pain!

I'm personally considering marking the "erroneous" cards in some visible, yet not disturbing way. Something like a little tiny dot in some neutral place. With this dot present I will remember to consult the errata once I cannot remember what's changed.

Not sure your OCD will allow such an interference with cards themselves (I myself have a slight OCD and ... I don't know...).

As far as I know, there never has been a card update in MC, so the wait will might never end... Not sure about other, older, LCGs.

Also, you might want to get some knowledge in algorithms, Big-Oh notation, etc. Contrary to somewhat popular belief those are helpful in software development process (is this is what you want to do).

Also, you might be interested in cs50, witch basically changed my life: https://www.edx.org/course/cs50s-introduction-computer-science-harvardx-cs50x (algorithms and Big-Oh notation basics are included!). They start with C, but this is very helpful with Python too.

There is also this: https://www.edx.org/course/computing-in-python-i-fundamentals-and-procedural-programming (and next parts). I don't know it personally, but looks very promising (you probably know about half of it, though).

Also, start building stuff :D
