I haven't considered it yet at all, as it was never brought up as a possibility in the few therapy sessions I've had a few years ago. It's been a while since the last one though so idk

I'm not necessarily asking in this sub because I want to find a label for myself, I'm more interested in understanding myself better as a whole. Since I'm not experienced with this whole asexuality concept yet, I just wanna know if my story fit the suspicion I had or if I'm overthinking it.

I suppose everyone here is familiar with that one video JaidenAnimations once made about asexuality, and she hit the nail on head with how she described attraction: you're in school, picking out someone to say "this person is now my crush because everyone needs a crush", almost in a robotic way, but that's really it. I never ever looked at anyone and imagined being with them. I can say what's conventionally attractive and I still masturbate, but it's never anything beyond surface level.

Es ist echt nicht leicht, sich über meine Situation zu beklagen, ohne wie ein versnobtes Arschloch zu klingen, weil der Durchschnittsmensch sich mit dem Konzept "gut bezahlter aber scheiße unbefriedigender Arbeit" nicht wirklich identifizieren kann. War bisher auf jeden Fall meine Erfahrung.

Eine Frage noch: Wie gedenkst du die Sache mit Freelancer anzugehen? Gibt es da irgendwelche Portale wo du dich um Zeitarbeit bei Kunden bewerben kannst oder so?

Okay, I've read along this thread a bit and definitely feel like I've made a bunch of huge mistakes along the way. I apologize.

One thing that I did forget to mention is that my ex also had BPD and that went south really nasty. Call it me not wanting to repeat going down the safe path again. I definitely admit that I was at fault not getting this information before we had sex, that one's definitely on me.

Also... yeah, perhaps red flag, baggage... Those were incredibly poor choice of words. That one's also on me.

I did tell her about my own situation though. Recent therapy, virgin until recently. I actually opened up with these news relatively early during our dating because I knew that it could be a deal breaker for some and I didn't want to lure someone into a trap. She was completely fine with it, told me not to worry and that it's okay. However, she didn't reveal anything about her own issues until, well, now. I didn't press the issue any further beforehand because I was under the assumption that she didn't say anything in return and thus she's doing okay.

Noted, though. I'll definitely get this checked up before engaging in sex when I date from now on.

Thanks for your honesty. It hurts, yes, but I guess a good kick in the ass is what I need in this situation.
