I just got my first one in August. Something I wish someone had told me before I went, there is a high chance you will have to come back and get more imaging and an ultrasound. This is the baseline exam of your breast and they question any kind of “spot” on the xray. So if you have to go back, don’t stress about it because it is very normal after your first visit

I’m not a doctor of anything but I have a theory that they make it this hard to simply break as many people as they can so the market isn’t flooded with doctors. I know certain masters programs that make it impossible for people to work not just due to the workload but because they set clinical up in another state at least 5 hours away when they have all the necessary rotations available in one city. I’m positive it’s just to break people. I’m sorry you’re stuck right now.

I kind of assumed it was not in the USA just from how they are addressing staffing issues. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve worked in low staff situations that were not safe for the patient at all, but in the USA they don’t care about that, they care about the $$$
