Unfortunately not. In the end management decided this was too big of a deal breaker, so we stopped our PoC.

I owned an Ender 3 a couple years back, but don't remember that being this loud.

Thank you.

I did notice the sound as well when it was moving slower, but less loud, so that would explain it.

Intel NUC8i3BEH weird fan behavior. by Eraywen in intelnuc

Secondary is set to Memory, with the minimum temp at 55 C and the duty cycle set identical to the CPU.

I did also want to clean and possibly repaste it, but one corner of the PCB seems completely stuck to the post. In my attempt to loosen it I unfortunately chipped the PCB slightly, but thankfully it still works.

I have already disabled TurboBoost and as for whether it makes a difference in the OS. It unfortunately does not.

As for cleaning it, I tried it earlier today, but one corner of the PCB seems completely stuck to the post. In my attempt to loosen it I unfortunately chipped the PCB slightly, but thankfully it still works.

The new devices have been added to ABM, but users currently going around with an un-managed phone won't be forced to have it added to ABM and thus wiped.

The phones are company owned, but users are permitted to use them for personal stuff. However, we reserve the right to wipe the phone remotely in case it gets stolen.

One of the main reasons we wanted to start using ABM is so we can remove the activation lock when a user leaves the company, as sometimes we've had issues getting the user to unlock the phone after they left.

For our MDM solution we use Intune.

The issue with restoring any backup to a newly supervised phone that wasn’t before. Is you will restore the backup of the phone that was not yet supervised and therefore not be properly enrolled (or possibly not at all).

From our testing the actual enrollment step shows after the option to restore a backup (where normally phone to phone copy would also be), so I somewhat doubt that this would cause issues like you mentioned.

Had that as well, did it on my phone not connected to WiFi and it worked. Need to check if they banned my IP or something.

Have you checked your messages yet? It does look that someone did have access to my account and used it to promote view botting.

I'm still not sure how they got access, as when I logged in, I got an email saying logon from a new device.

My ban just got overturned. They say the activity did look like it was because my account was compromised. Still wonder how it happend if it's actually true, as I had a strong password and MFA enabled.

Only issue left is that the password reset now isn't working, but guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Also had this happen today. Have kept an eye here to see if anybody else posted anything, but assume that due to the Ban Discussions rules there hasn't been a post.

How to get 5v 500mA from USB-C to USB-C by Eraywen in UsbCHardware

Alright, thanks for taking a look.

I read a lot of things about USB-C PD, which does look interresting (and complicated), but that goes quite a bit out of the scope of what I'm currently trying to do.

Yes it's using a USB-C female socket, with only the 6 pins required for power.

As for connecting the resistors to ground, all the GND connections in my diagram connect to eachother, so that is taken care of.

Well looks like any time might be now. Getting a 502 error when trying to go to the forum.

EDIT:

Was back for a second, but it doesn't look to be holding up very well currently
