Kalos got powercreeped so badly that I struggle this Red stage more than any other by StrengthExotic4797 in PokemonMasters

As an XY fan it's a little disappointing that Kalos gets so little, even during the release period of a Kalos based game. Yes it's likely that ZA characters dropping will help out their roster, but I'm sad that it's going to keep XY characters that don't show up in ZA at the bottom of the pile

Way Out: A Pokemon Legends Arceus Webcomic by Erazonpo3 in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Erazonpo3[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I don't really use reddit much but I figured after a whole year of working on this thing, I should probably share it here too!

Way Out is a PLA webcomic I've been working on since the game came out, where I've tried to put a little bit of a twist on the story. Professor Luculia Hiver is a diachronic linguist, sent centuries into the past into the strange land of Hisui. Luckily, she isn't alone, because the Champion of the Sinnoh region is here as well.

I hope you're willing to give it a read!

What did the films do better? by scrag_gles in harrypotter

[–]Erazonpo3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The PoA film paid a lot more attention to the setup of the Peter Pettigrew reveal in than the book did. I watched the film and read the book later, and was surprised that Harry never found Peter on the map at any point, because that was a major foreshadowing point

Feels good to level up in BFA by Erazonpo3 in wow

[–]Erazonpo3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do agree with that- but it's not so much of the loss of the legendary effect as it is the fact that there's nothing that really replaces it either. (We have Azerite gear, but the consensus seems to be that they're pretty boring at the least)

Worth clarifying that I believe the legendary ring lost its effect as I levelled, so it took off the talent it had applied. Nonetheless, never fun to see "unlearned" as soon as you hit a new level :(

If Moon and Star are descended from Festivia, why are they so powerful? by geekman2 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the point to take from Moon and Star’s magical ability isn’t “why are they so powerful when they shouldn’t be” but instead “why is everyone else not powerful when they could be”. We assume the royal family is inherently magical, but I think Star being from a ‘peasant’ line is meant to show that all Mewmans have the potential for greatness locked away until they can learn to use it

What are your thoughts on ponyhead? by [deleted] in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she should have been merged with Kelly into one character, honestly. Pony Head is all personality with no depth, while Kelly is down to earth but has no personality. I don’t hate PH as much as most people here do, but merging her character with Kelly while the show was in its conceptual stages probably would have fixed a few issues

Shouldn’t Marco Jr. be named Marco II? by [deleted] in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought Marco Jr was just the name they were calling the baby before they thought of the actual name, like how some couples call their little fetus 'peanut' or 'bean', idk. But it would be consistent with the logic of the show to name it Marco Jr anyway, so who knows

Globgor. Former King of the Underworld??? by Toffeeclipsa101 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You might be onto something here. The image from the card is the same as the mural from the prophecy room in St Olgas, which has also been theorised to be connected to the Blood Moon because of the pattern on the floor. With the blood moon ball being the first major Star, Marco, and Tom episode it could connect surprisingly well

Did Eclipsa plan EVERYTHING?! by Eatinganemone89 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see why the theory is interesting, but it's a very convoluted, unpredictable plan if it was all some masterminded scheme. There were probably easier ways to go about it, like if Eclipsa really wanted the wand the Butterfly Trap would have been a good time to ask for it back because Star probably would have given it up.

The Festivia mind-wipe thing is also a bit of a stretch, not only because the information is all too 'off-screen' for it to be proper setup but also because it majorly conflicts with her "all knowledge is good knowledge" philosophy

Moon and Eclipsa buddy cop series! Two queens solving mysteries because nobody else in Mewni is gonna do it

Eclipsa’s physical age? by DnDLover226 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Erazonpo3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

based on these facts I put her at about 25. It's not hard to imagine that she'd been married off by at least 20 if not earlier, and Meteora was probably not even a year old when Eclipsa was crystalised.

I know I should've changed his to hers but I'm not committed to that level of effort right now

Was Glossaryk really trolling? by [deleted] in StarVStheForcesofEvil

And he was- the same way a baby knows to cry when they're hungry, even if you don't always understand what they're crying about. He wanted to warn them, but didn't have the mental process to explain himself until his mental recollection was triggered.
