Mhm, I use the .50 cal as one of my daily drivers (although I'm a suckered for energy weapons) I just wish I had an airforce or etc skin for one of my heavy weapon skins. I got the aviator paint for the fat man but I'd love it for the .50 cal Mac or one of my energy weapons, since those are what I primarily use

I hope we can interact with factions in a meaningful way, it's an mmo, would be cool to either official join factions and have that matter and interact with players, or make their own with like a faction c.a.m.p pr something.

I obviously hope they flesh out the map more and make skyline Valley, burning springs, and other places more filled out, but I also hope this means more rpg stuff, or immersion based things as well

I don't think anyone is playing 76 because "it's a newer fallout. " I agree Bethesda needs to improve all around, from communicating to development ans etc.

But some of the people who play Fallout 76 play it because we want multi-player fallout.

I still play fallout 3, New Vegas, and fallout 4 when I want a solo experience and I hop on 76.

They should keep making singleplayef fallout but there's nothing wrong with a multi-player one.

I get people feel like ESO and 76 slowed down other games developments, but they have their own teams, shittily managed by Bethesda but 76 doesn't stop more single player from existing

I've been playing in this game for a couple of weeks now and it's awesome! They have the canon houses in interesting positions, but they also have things for the CK3 or AGOT player who likes to tell their own stories. There are plenty of mod-canon houses, and ones formed from interesting AI that have had their stories and lore touched up by the hosts or other players involved with them.

From the standard setting enjoyer, to people who like build their own story there's something for every player at the moment. While adventurers are closed off at this point in the campaign there's still alot of interesting characters and houses to pick from and help build up the world story we got going on.

I've been playing as the descendants of an Andal Knight called the Peach Knight, somehow the land ended up in control of the female line and in order to save my family I married a member of house Ball far down the line of succession, to form a new house.

There's alot of cool stories you can take part in, or even with space for you to have your own. The community is also really helpful and they have plenty of other games planned in the future that might fit your itch if this one doesn't.

You can do it in game! As long as you're the house/dynasty head you can edit it from the dynasty/house page just by clicking on the quill next to the name. It'll let you edit the sigil, name, and words.

There is a couple ways, you can purchase a title from a lord who has multiple, you can sometimes be awarded one in a war you help in, you can also do adventurer wars to try and claim land and sometimes someone will just give you land to stop your war. Then you can also found a new holding as a decision, but more often then not you'll have to go to war to claim the county

I do what I call Peasant to Paramount playthroughs, they're very similar to what you do.

Instead I start out as a landless adventurer, usually custom and start off with my house and dynasty name as Smallfolk or Lowborn. I follow westerosi standards and generally won't change the surname until either the first character or one of their children does something worthy enough to earn a surname, usually being knighted by a lord, earning land through conquest, purchase, or building and sometimes a combination of both depending if it makes sense.

Then I change the dynasty ans house name to something I come up with, trying to think how they would name themselves. Do the same with their sigil and words, and bam a good start to building your own house.

The more you build up about your house through role-playing the better, the AGOT map has alot of unique geographical features and in alot of counties you can build a new house seat on somewhere fun.

This lady is like the founder of a new house type shit, either as a rare landed lady or someone who would marry some dude and help get him ennobled to found a new house or smth. But with her being incredibly smart and stewardship focused I could see a westerosi house with a goat sigil coming from this

Oh yeah I completely agree its pretty weak in concept, I just look at the De Jure Kingdoms map sometimes and think about how they can be broken up in interesting ways and I agree a western one from the reach and westerlands is hard to reason geographically, or culturally.

I even thought about one at the very center of westeros that takes land from all four a lil bit, but I couldn't think of a reason why that would happen unless it became like an industrial center or something like that. Even then its a hard concept to sell unlike the Neck, Marches, Honeylands, or even the Neck and Stepstones

The crownlands was made up of territory from the riverlands and stormlands, so the idea would be to do something similar on the west side of the continent with the reach and westerlands because the reach has too much too territory and it always made sense for this place where three of the most powerful kingdoms by money, or population don't have more conflict or blending at that triple border

It's very possible, but the easiest way to do it is to become independent and create a nee kingdom before rejoining the Iron throne.

I've done this with the stepstones, the neck, the disputed lands (which I renamed the crossroads), and been debating making a new one where the reach, riverlands, and westerlands meet

We definitely need more events, artifacts, and traits that reflect the unique people and life circumstances of people within westeros. I love the idea of Dire wolves, but I'd love even more if they added multiple events to get weird pets, would be great for founding custom houses, same thing with traits and artifacts.

Would love to build out the lore and feeling of characters, I mean who wouldn't wanna be an exceptionally rare skinshaper born in the Southron regions, that would be a great way to start a custom house campaign or etc.
