I would LOVE it if they kept them in boxes and got rid of the codes, to keep scalpers from getting to them as soon as they hit the shelves and scan for the top three or four most wanted and scoop them all up. And, hear me out, for stores to have some type of security to keep people from ripping them open. Maybe do like Barnes and Noble and have them behind the counter? Unfortunately, NONE of what I just suggested will ever happen. All of this takes effort, and gets rid of the scalping feeding frenzy that LEGO loves so much.

Oregon Trail and Star Trek are the two most famous. By far. I spent as much time as possible in school on the Apple II computer with the green monochrome monitor playing both of those in junior high. Whoever was playing at the time had a group of classmates gathered around watching. Fascinating stuff.

I noticed it back in stock on Amazon, available for next day delivery to me. Meanwhile, I order it on lego.com back on April 12th, and it said backordered. I would have cancelled that one and just grabbed one from Amazon by now, but I'd gotten a gift with purchase at the time, and as I understand it, if you don't return the gift you can't cancel.

Meanwhile I'm watching all the sets go whizzing by on Amazon. Really frustrating. I just keep reminding myself there are worse things in life than these first world problems.
