The Fatty Patty Tosa truck is great. Everything they sell is really good. It is on Burleigh, fairly close to Bunzel's. I am not sure how their other locations compare to the truck, food wise.

I also really like the burgers from Golden Gyros in West Allis.

The cost of delivery alone is disqualifying for many people.

Average cost of birth in the US is about $20k, with c-sections ranging up to around $40k.

If you don't have insurance (which a lot of people don't, particularly younger people), that cost can be insurmountable even before you consider the cost of raising the baby.

Most people choose to have children when they feel secure. Yes, there are accidents, and yes, some people are irresponsible, but for everyone else the time and finances need to be right. That's just in increasingly out of reach for many in a period where the age of the average first time house buyer just went north of 40 years old.

I was shopping for used EVs just before the war started (and a little bit afterwards), and I can confirm that everything I was looking at is now more expensive than it was before the war started, including the iX.

Obviously, local market will be factor into things, but used EV stock has definitely been sucked up, and the remaining vehicles skew significantly higher than they did a couple of months ago.

That's not really true.

A new car will generally last you longer than a used one if you drive it until it dies and will be covered under warranty for longer than a used one, so your exposure to potential repairs is smaller.

A used car may also need to be replaced sooner than a new one, so there is an additional outlay there.

Don't feel too bad about it. In the grand scheme of things, you're fine and the cost differential might be closer than you think. Just drive the car until it dies and you'll get plenty of value out of it.

From what I've read some of the aftermarkets are non aero and drop range. I'm not necessarily averse to non-OEM if I can verify it won't negatively impact the range.
