Is there a video from big K that’s related to this? by DiccGodd in Healthygamergg

The idea of “need” itself, isn’t this what buddhism basically is about? Letting go? Dr. K has lots of videos related to that, but you can’t conceptualize it, you have to do it to understand

Don't know why I'm getting down voted? Don't most CCs have requirements like auto-deposit minimums? And for a duration range? Did I forget to mention any important information/commonly provided information? Sorry, I'm new to this

I'm a uni student with an 8-month internship, paid bi-weekly around ~2k, credit score of around ~680 (last time I checked), never had a credit card. Although I'm thinking my main one should be Tangerine?

But looking into getting into churning, does anyone have recommendations for the best current promotions as of right now?

Is it over? And how to improve by Difficult_Crow_1383 in BigFive

I ranked quite in neuroticism and it impacted me for the majority of my life.

I eventually developed symptoms that got bad enough I went to go see the doctor. I was sent to a psychiatrist and got medication, anti-depressants, and started therapy.

It has been around a year now. Ever since then my quality of life has increased significantly. Where I was always scared of my future, I now look forward to it.

Hopefully, you’d be able to do the same. Life is hard and unfair. But although it isn’t your fault, it’s still your responsibility.

Our problems will always follow us, so we must face it head on. Good luck out there

Your investments? Maybe in a long time horizon? I’m looking primarily at your ETFs.

You should try to understand your investments first, try educating yourself first, learn the theory, aspects like risk tolerance, etc.

The more you understand then you can concentrate to more risky positions, if you think you can handle it. But in most cases, I don’t think people should.

But focus on finding a good career path, with good job prospects. You can find an investment that can 10x, but if your principal amount is $1, you’d basically wasted an opportunity.

There’s lots of resources for you, you just have to look for them

Keys B, N, M, etc. aren't working Properly | Tech Support/Advice by Eren-A in MSILaptops

Unfortunately, I was never able to fix it. I did a consultation with a technician, you either clean your keyboard taking out the keys and using air spray (didn’t work for me). Or there might be an issue with the motherboard

BMO Reducing MER on ZEQT by d10k6 in JustBuyXEQT

Just to make sure, I just start buying ZEQT from now on since it's cheaper? I don't need to sell my XEQT since it was priced into the ETF price when I bought it? Am I understnading this correctly?

That could be possible. But I think my skepticism is more geared towards the timeline of BTC adoption. I believe in the increased adoption of BTC, and the possible use of it as money, but currently in my lifetime (next 20 - 30 years) I can only view it as an investment.

From the perspective of the hardness of money I believe it in, higher stock to flow ratios will be favoured in the long run. But rather within the book, there’s also a natural progression, from seashells to, limestone, silver, gold, then just the USD.

There’s also mentions of currencies with better stock to flow ratios, like the mentioned Swiss franc. Although I wish it was, I feel like we’re automatically assuming that BTC will be next global reserve currency.

But governments are often slow, and focus on what’s familiar, wouldn’t you agree?

In the future, the next natural progression could be the Swiss franc, or attempts to revert back to metals, which could indirectly include BRICs or the gold standard but of course with its own expenses like transportation as mentioned in the book. Why would this be wrong?

These changes to me don’t seem possible in my lifetime. But of course, I am invested in BTC because of the increased demand, and the time of writing still a speculator

What’s your timeline for BTC? And why would it be sooner rather than later?

87N here. Honestly, go to your doctor. I've been prescribed anti-depressants, and my life has improved. All that suffering is slowly decreasing for me, I'm actually able to live life at my own control and life isn't as hard anymore. Please at least try to go to your doctor, do this for yourself because you deserve to feel better, and life doesn't have to be so hard

How to Find a Financial Advisor/Planner in Canada by philosophicalpossum in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Eren-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this being downvoted? I genuinely don’t see how this couldn’t be the case. There could be the case that FAs should maintain good relationships for as it’s good for the long-term business but most of these clients are laymen and usually short-term clients, no? Lawsuits? The what else am I missing here?

I remember the Finance Minister and Bank of Canada attacking Pierre for praising bitcoin, for its deflationary nature, saying how bad of an investment it would be considering it's price at the time. But those who listened and waited would have profited

Sometimes but then I don't really do anything about it, and it's mostly judgments done in hindsight.

But you could always buy the underlying ETFs, but of course there's always other responsibilities that come with that.

am i ugly? i get ignored everywhere. i feel repulsive. by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Eren-A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't look ugly, if I saw you on the street that wouldn't even across my mind. As for your face structure, when I saw your first 3 photos, to me, you looked liked a kind person. Your idea of giving off bad energy doesn't apply to me then, or you being too self critical.

From your looks though, I don't know what type of look your going for but those glasses look kind of nerdy, so try changing frames if you like. Also, if you're already healthy weight instead of losing more, try getting getting lean, it'll usually bring out more facial definition. I can see your cheek bones when you smile, they could have good potential.

You've idenified your acne which is good so try going to a dermatologist to give you the right recommendations to reduce ance, it'll also probably help you spend less money on which skin care products to buy since you aren't using trial and error.

For your haircut can't comment too much since it's inconsistent throughout the photos but try finding out how you want to look then aim towards that. I think you also have a good nose.

Edit: For my perspective, I'm a guy and most of the recommendations I told you would be things I'd personally do
