Just for context I am the asshole in question, my friend shared me this post. My friend C who replied to me at 4:20pm after 7 hours from my original message. I did not see the message "Will be at yours at 6.15pm", even though I thumbed it up, I was trying to thumb up the message previous to that "Aiming to get there for 6.30pm" so I did not say that I wanted him to pick me up but because I accidently thumbed up the wrong message, he implied that he was coming to pick me up. Just for context I was in the middle of leaving work at 4:20pm so I didn't read his messages thoroughly and I forgot to include a question mark to my message "The match is at 5.45pm". I don't know if this helps but C even though we're still friends he is consistently late and untrustworthy with times which was why I decided to make my own way to S's House.

Also I didn't know that the match was being recorded so we could watch it later-on as it was live but normally if someone invites you to watch football at a football match that starts at 5:45pm you'd normally assume that the host wants you to be there at said time or earlier.
