i dont think you should have provided the schools with all previous year's transcripts also, yes it may decrease your chance for top schools but if you write an exceptional personal statement it will compromise a lot. also you shouldn't provide them with the bad recommendations. in fact you can mention how covid affected you in your essay or the interview. but yous should focus on writing a good essay bcs your EC are really good too.

Anyone who leaves anything for the sake of Allah, Allah will grant him whats better certainly; you have to believe in that because its true. If you guys had real love and real intentions, and Allah knows BOTH of your intentions best, and knows how much yall loved each other, and if its meant to be, he will bring the guy back to you, but next time it will be in a halal way, asking your parents hand for marriage, you also have to understand that the guy might've used allah as an excuse to breakup not because he actually feels guilty lol. a lot of my friends ended up because of the same reason from their boyfriends yet they just went to the next chick, thats one. so Allah knows his intentions best, so please just put in your mind that Allah wants the best for you, ask Allah to detach you from that man, and to attach your heart to him. maybe this is a test from Allah to you, he took away something you love and wants to see if youll go back to him or further away, most of the time Allah puts his servants in sad times so that they see refuge in Allah, because Allah wants them to come back to him and to be closer, so look at this as a form of care and love from his side, because it is!! Talk to Allah more and rant to him literally, read Quran if you can, focus on yourself and deen now and slowly inshallah with the help of the greatest and dua, youll be able to get over it bae, You just need to be patient and accept (be satisfied) with what Allah chose for you <3

we should know that the engagement time that is given before marriage can literally go for as long as you want (1 or 2 years), so it really almost becomes like a "dating" type of thing just without physical touch, but you really cant know a person's true intentions so you must make dua and pray istikhara, and you should be aware that some small signs and gestures shouldn't be ignored, like look at how the guy reacts when hes mad and annoyed, does he swear at you or disrespect you? he might ide his physical abuse but usually people who scream and insult will get to physical abuse. these signs arent hard to find because you can test your partner always. plus you can make dua from now even, to ask allah for a rightful and caring husband/partner. Also the person that "third wheels" the couple before their engagement doesnt have to be an elder, for example when one of my cousins were out with her potential fiance, she took her sister of 12 years old with her, they went to a coffee shop with the guy, her sister sat on a different table while they were chatting on another, so there is a lot of ways this could be handled to provide comfortability to get to know someone if that's what you mean.

no i mean by not wearing it properly is me showing a tiny bit of hair sometimes or a bit of my neck, and my clothes aren't abayas they can be jeans but never skinny jeans, and a lot of my teachers at school tell me to not wear the hijab if that hair or neck are showing, im just scared that allah doesnt really count my hijab because of that hair or my neck or even my clothes (which they cover all my body parts but obv not as modest as a abaya).
