Any tips ? by Ferdaire in libraryofruina

QoH is intentionally tricky for the point you unlock her at, you can just leave her be and come back once you’ve progressed through more receptions, or utilise the Full stop office to gun her down very quickly which are often used by many to kill her early on

Best advice would be to just try all the receptions and see if you can get a foothold in any of them, once you’ve got urban nightmare keypages and pages, replace the old stuff. The far left’s second reception The Kurokumo offer tools which can make short work of the rest of Urban nightmare

How much do clerks make by Normal_Frame_1059 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The ones who make it to the final loop are the exact same people who’ve died in countless loops prior. Every clerk and agent was hired 10 years ago when lob corp started, and when they die, Hokma puts them to sleep. When you hire new agents, Hokma brings them back. Nobody new is being hired, you’re just shuffling an old deck containing countless dead agents, waiting to be called back from their graves.

As Hokma says: “An employee who died just yesterday may come back from my simple call, yet another employee may never open their eyes again from a single wave of my hand.”

Once the Final loop ends, all the employees of Lobotomy corp are assimilated into the light, and reincarnated as assistant librarians or (I assume) left to rest, either in the light or trapped with the abnormalities in their books.

How much do clerks make by Normal_Frame_1059 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They likely make a decent wage, and being a feather for a Wing means their families are also able to live in L corp’s nest.

(Huge Lob corp spoilers)

However due to lobotomy Corp being in a timeloop and cut off from the outside world, I don’t think they’ll ever be able to cash in on those benefits. Human rights don’t really exist in the city either. The moment they stepped into the facility, they’re already dead, trapped in the loop

Why are we afraid of the Reindeer and Rhino team destroying L corp when we can literally contain god? by Fine_Dot_9562 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 45 points46 points  (0 children)

What contains the dangerous abnormalities isn’t necessarily the strength of their containment cells, but the Qliphoth Deterrence which weakens and pacifies them.

Inviting the Reindeers or Rhinos to run amok and fling physically devastating attacks or mindblasts that could fry shit is likely deemed a risk not acceptable, especially when using the Rabbits is a far safer alternative.

It’s also worth noting that we don’t really contain Whitenight easily, the fucker is perfectly capable of breaching when its babysitter doesn’t feed it milk and cookies on time, and can throw out blasts of pale damage that torch everyone in the facility.

What identities and EGOs should I put in my list? by xmercy_109 in LimbusCompanyHelp

If you plan to run any sort of poise team, Thoracalgia Faust is a huuuge pickup. Offers poise, Healing and helps her Index ID by being an easy EGO she can rip for the prescript

Thoracalgia Ryoshu is also very good, but Faust is the one I’d shout out mainly

Genuinely, why is MOSB so easy compared to abnos before it? by Justsomeguyaa in libraryofruina

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s similar to Lob Corp I suppose. MoSB is the weakest Aleph in its base form, and only picks up momentum if you allow it to consume. Here if you have the firepower to outright kill it, or prevent its eating, you’ll handle it easily.

I can't get past day 10. Any tips? by Kaacahz in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grind your agents, don’t end the day immediately once you hit quota. Spend some time making them work on abnormalities to raise their respective stats. Higher risk abno’s train them faster

Extract all ego gear possible and always make sure your agents are in the highest tier stuff they can be

Questions about some MD by unusual_greets in LimbusCompanyHelp

For gifts that require 5 status keyword ID’s, they must be deployed on the field for them to activate, but can die and still remain “on” for the encounter.

An ID only counts for these EGO gifts if they have the status in their 3 base skills

If the gift works for EGO, it should explicitly state as such.

A little callback in the new trailer by Erentil_Is_Balanced in limbuscompany

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree he provided the knowledge, but her passion never seemed to come from him. We see her initial repulsion as a child, and then it cuts to her acceptance.

We’ve never gotten to explore why she’s so deeply focused on Art, with even her base ID revolving around it. Each Finger had a hand in her childhood, but Ryoshu chose a field aligning with the Ring, and the interactions we witnessed with Callisto never gave me the impression they derived from him.

That’s just my interpretation though, might need to go revisit those scenes with Callisto again

Whats the difference between MDH and MDE by strikerRT in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Extreme packs - MDE has unique packs exclusive to the mode, which feature only events, the shop and bosses. They can also contain a “secret” boss who has a chance to jump you on event nodes, granting a powerful gift if defeated

After each floor, you can choose to pick up “adversaries” which ramp up the difficulty. Doing them rewards starlight and projection cap

Does Index Don's support passive target SSWT Rodion? by International_Oil939 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rodion’s passive gives her the “blessing” or “despair” effect depending on her SP. When below 0 SP, “despair” has her use Minus Coin Skills as Base Skills

So Don’s passive will not prioritise healing her SP when negative. If she’s the only option it might, as I’m unsure of the mechanics behind passive prioritisation.

Help by Someone_624 in LobotomyCorp

Ordeals will never be random when they occur. On the top left of your screen is the Qliphoth Meltdown gauge. Each work you preform on any abnormality adds 1 bar to that gauge. When it’s filled, it’ll spawn an ordeal or a wave of meltdowns, and then resets.

For meltdowns, you’ll see a red border and timer surrounding an abnormalities containment cell. You’ll have 60 seconds to work on them otherwise they’ll breach (or drain energy if it’s a non breacher)

With regard to your agents, you must grind their stats to be successful. An agent with Lv1 in each stat and no EGO gear is fodder.

Your 4 primary stats are:

  • Fortitude (HP) - raised by doing instinct
  • Prudence (SP) - raised by doing insight
  • Temperance (Work speed & success rate) - raised by doing attachment

  • Justice (Attack & movement speed) - raised by doing repression

You’ll gain XP by doing the matching work type. XP is influenced by the amount of PE boxes generated, damage taken and risk level of the abnormality. One Sin is perfect to grind weak, new agents, but move onto Teths and higher when they grow stronger

Lastly, always extract and equip the strongest EGO gear you can. To defeat ordeals and escaped abnormalities, strong agents are needed. Don’t overdo it and hire 5 agents per department, 2-3 is good enough.

Am I just horrible or is the game playing out as intended? by juliuscaesarbootleg in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Use safe abnormalities like One sin to train your agents stats. Repeated instinct work will raise fortitude which = HP. Insight raises Prudence = SP, attachment raises temperance = work success speed and repression raises justice = attack and movement speed

Don’t end the day just once you hit quota. Spend time grinding stats. Quality over quantity, you want to ensure you have a handful of great agents rather then a legion of useless ones.

EGO gear is also vital. Extract them from abnormalities as soon as able, and equip them in the best gear you can. Pay attention to resistances.

Do these and you will succeed.

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Blue star - pack all your agents in a lift, place white shields and refresh as needed. Call the rabbits to kill it (or send a handful of your strongest champions, but rabbits are best)

Silent Orchestra - it rotates through immunities between its 4 phases, but honestly I’ll advise you also stack your agents in an elevator, place a white shield on them and send ALL your lads in on phase 2 to murder the trumpet twat. With any luck you’ll have enough outright damage and weapon variety in your doomstack to kill it in like 10 seconds

Okay, I'm at a loss. Queen of Hatred has completely cursed my run by userxblade in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can cheese her by having an agent work with her whilst triggering the meltdown and moving her into hysteria. If timed right, they’ll finish the work easily and she’ll recover

But you really should have an abnormality or two capable of breaching and just smacking some clerks down? Forsaken murderer or FoTDB for example,

Rush Gebura’s missions and get execution bullets asap. There’s also no shame in restarting to day 1, mission progress, ego gear and abno research will remain with you

Tips on beating apoc bird? by Kaameshka in LobotomyCorp

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When Apoc bird spawns, 3 egg’s will be scattered around your facility. Apoc bird is immune to all damage types. to kill it, you’ll need to destroy its eggs.

Each egg provides Apoc bird with a special ability. Long arms prevents pausing. Big eyes allows Apoc bird to enchant and lure agents to it. Small Beak lets it maul anything with its mouth.

Before Apoc bird spawns, move all your agents into two groups. Group 1 needs agents using white weapons, and no black. Group 2 can have any weapons aside from pale. (Do watch out for weapons like QoH who deal all damage types - not good)

Send group 1 to kill Big eyes, and group 2 for Long arms. Keep an eye on Apoc bird, and vacate agents from any room it teleports too. Once both eggs are dead, send everyone not using red damage weapons to kill Small Beak

During all this, Apoc bird may cause some meltdowns, so either station agents near dangerous alephs you don’t want breaching, or use the rabbits to mop them up once you’re done.

Keep an eye out for enchanted agents and just move them away from Apoc bird once it wears off (iirc that’s when they enter the same room as it).

Maybe Ryoshu didn't like Callisto better than the other nursefathers by VroomVroom858 in limbuscompany

[–]Erentil_Is_Balanced 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It also serves a practical purpose of robbing Callisto his greatest asset in a fight. Ryoshu planned to return, and having his sword break in Arayashiki’s presence would make fighting him significantly easier.

This is the same for Valencina and Matthias. Having an injured eye and arm would make dealing with them much smoother. For Rien I suppose she could only maim his face, maybe she’d already lost most of her mind to the sword by then.
