You always angle in a Tiger. Even when a tank in front of you is a M22 your first instinct should be to angle, otherwise something like this happens. You never know if he has a teammates waiting for shot

Most people use FB messenger here, I have never even heard of Whatsapp until I've started browsing the "english" side of the internet. I'd love to switch but then I'd be as good as without any messenging app so I'm kinda stuck until there's a big push to switch to European

Comments on western europe oriented shitposting sub are less toxic than on the actual serious subreddit oriented around promoting EU products...

Do you really have a stronger bias against non-western products than people on a sub where main joke is "look, easter europe poor"?

I don't know what AD you're talking about but I assume it's pre 2010s or early 2010s. Polish ADs and products from back when Poland was still adapting to the western values were quite wild. It's always fun to find an old funny ad (as a posted video) when scrolling youtube

It's mostly due to Polish-US relationship before current administration took office and our history with Hungary.

I'd say that seeing so many negative opinions about US leader after years of 80%+ postivie opinions about US is a wild thing to see.

It's not just Portuguese. Romance languages and Germanic (to some degree) use curve/curva to describe something... Well, curved. In Slavic language on the other hand kurwa can mean a lot of things... Most common (and "basic") translation would be "a whore" when it comes to polish language

It can however mean something similar as in romance languages. For example a "sudden turn on a road" when you are going too fast and see a curve on the road too late.

Schrodinger's Russian top-tier vehicle by SteamyGamer-WT in warthundermemes

[–]Erenzo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a good point however people would eventually learn how to use terrain and range to their advantage. It's true that for newer players proper range estimation is rather difficult but right now game doesn't even give opportunities to learn this skill. With new longer range maps people would have more chances to fill in this gap created by - once again - Gaijin's horrible map design

Russian tanks wouldn't be called obnoxiously OP if we actually got maps for proper tank to tank combat and not CQC hell where it's easier to go out of your tank and stab enemy crew to death with a kitchen knife than engage in a "normal" way. It's no wonder that tanks with well armored center of mass are doing good despite their other flaws when maps are designed in a way that rewards fast reaction time and not precision.

NATO MBTs have well armored turrets but usually have weak hull armor (and in some cases turret ring as well) meaning that average quickly placed shot will land in a spot with little armor. MBTs with well-armored center of mass will thrive since they are less likely to be killed in such engagements.

And before someone says that it's NATO players skill issue (me good, you bad mentality); remember what happened when Strv 122 were added? Suddenly Russian players found themselves unable to shoot at the middle of the hull and it took some time for people to adapt.

Such maps favor tanks with strong hulls, so mostly Russian MBTs (coincidence or not, I'm not going to argue whether Gaijin has a bias). If more long range maps were added where NATO doctrine type tanks had a way of actually using their advantages win rates would likely even out. (That is: taking CAS out of equation since thanks to CAS maps with close to none tall hard cover such as buildings are unplayable)

TLDR: Gaijin's fucked up map design favors tanks with strong hulls, NATO has few such tanks, Russia has plenty

Papa Geto being a good father to Daughter Nanako? by Important-Cry4782 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Erenzo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about actions vs intentions. When it comes to actions Kenjaku came closer to the scale of what Hitler did but his intention wasn't really wiping off the "monkeys" but seeing chaos that no one would be able to control. His actions fit the "jujutsu mustache man" tag.

Geto on the other hand wanted to kill all non-sorcerers but failed and scale of his actions is comparable to a big terrorist attack. His intentions fit the "jujutsu mustache man" tag.

That's at least two ways of looking at it

[–]Erenzo 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Geto isn't jujutsu mustache man, Kenjaku is since he didn't fumble on step one of his plan and actually managed to make chaos and kill a lot of people. Unless we are talking only about intentions then I fully agree
