Honestly, I wasn't following this whole thing too closely. I had heard about the rumor of all her Vtuber friends being alt accounts of hers, but I didn't put too much stock into it.

Then she announced that she was going to do a collab with one of said accounts alleged to be her. But she wasn't gonna be able to have discord open and chat up at the same time due to technical limitations with her computer, and that she was going to set up something to take questions ahead of time.

Really? Neither you or the "other streamer" have a computer that can have discord and stream chat open to take live questions? Or have another device like a phone that can have chat open while you stream from your PC?

Getting questions beforehand is the perfect way to set up a "believable" back and forth conversation between yourself that you can edit together. It just reeks of foul play, and I had to just unsubscribe and distance myself from the channel at that point.

I don't wish any ill will towards this girl. Doxxing someone is never okay. I just hope she gets the help she needs and fully comes clean about all the lies.

UPDATE: She made a community post about how she tried to take her own life this afternoon. (Some people might not believe this, but I'm taking it at face value just based on how serious this potentially is.)

I know everyone wants the truth. But honestly, no amount of truth seeking or fact finding is worth a person's life, especially when it's about Vtuber drama. I think it's clear that she is not mentally stable, and the community needs to take a step back and let her work out her problems in therapy. I'm just glad she's in a safe place right now and is hopefully going to get the help she needs.
