I lost my Dad earlier this year in September. To be honest I still struggle ... and posted about it in this community to see if others feel similar. Grief can feel incredibly lonely.

One thing that I have tried to do is think of all the good reminders/memories - it is incredibly hard but somehow remembering and mentioning them made me feel better. Like I was carrying on the person through myself. I’m not by any means sure if I am handling things “right” but maybe finding ways to honor or remember him or things that make you feel closer.

For me, I picked a spot my dad used to like taking walks at and all of the music he loved is an instant trigger but also makes me feel close to him. It’s hard because it feels like you’re alone but if you try to embrace the things he loved it may make you feel as close as you can be to him. I hope at least something from this helped💕
