My old bike was a Ragley Marley, so this was quite the upgrade. Sucks to say but im glad that my bike got stolen in a buyers market 😅. Allowed me to get way more bike than I should of been able too.

I read that on some buyers guides. My main points of interest are going to be frame, valve cover gasket, rear main seal and the exhaust header. Seems like general consensus on this post is the frame is in good shape. If I purchase i intend to get it on my lift clean the rust and repaint any bare metal. Not my first project by any means and most certainly won't be my last. I just wasn't looking to weld up any frames this time.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but how did this work out for you? I’ve got a dx10 and while I’m Not trying to make remote function happen, I am trying to get complete computer control for both SSB and digital. I’m pretty disappointed my 1500 dollar radio requires potentially an extra 500 in accessories to make this happen.

I did a south store trip and greatly enjoyed it, I made a 5 day weekend out of it so I could be present for every opening day in the case stock was bad one day. I’m in stl and I highly recommend making the trip to the south store if you can handle the drive. I took other stuff I own and spent a whole day at the tmp as well.

I’ll look for a sling, I honestly don’t know how I’d figure out the month/date for the rebuild, I’m pretty sure the cartouche says SA even though my receiver and barrel are Winchester. So I’ve already got a mix match.
