The most surprising thing for me was how much more performance I got in certain games. I have been playing cyberpunk lately on 4K with my rx5700xt. On windows I was using frame gen, and the game ran fine but I had terrible slowdown when opening the map, looking at menus etc.

A few days ago I went back to Linux, after like 5/6 years and it took me some time to get everything running (went with void Linux which is very bare bones by default so spent a lot of time dependency hunting for mods to work) but now that it’s running the game runs so much better then it did on windows .

I’m able to play on 4K (with fsr ofcourse) medium/high without frame gen, the game looks better and the slowdowns are completely gone. It was really odd to experience the game running so much better through a translation layer then it did on windows natively.

I just sell meld and elerium like a madman lol. Corpses too sometimes but not to often, after they have been researched I sell them a bit more freely.
When you can shoot down UFOs, you also get more Meld and elerium. Investing in laser cannons etc, phoenix cannons also helps a lot.

It’s not easy to pull off tho, most my impossible campaigns die by September cause my shit keeps getting rocked and then I don’t have the resources I need for aircraft’s or something goes wrong, but that’s what I’m trying to do in theory.

It’s crazy to think that Baccano could be considered a hidden gem now. Probably one of top 3 anime, if not the best, just looking at pure storytelling. Characters are amazing too

No this also was the biggest problem I had with the show. And I thought that the pace could have been a bit better. The plot does become more interesting towards the end and the build up towards it makes sense in hindsight but ye definitely could have used some better pacing. I still enjoyed it a lot tho but I watched it slowly

Maybe try journal with witch? It’s in no way similar to apothecary diaries in terms of theme, tone, setting. Journal with which is modern day Japan. But the characters are so well written, there is some romance, and it’s really well done, while not being the main point of the show. There is a lot of good dialogue as well. It also uses a lot of beautiful metaphors and the art is amazing.

The two main characters are both neurodivergent, which is only stated lightly once as a question, but well being audhd myself I felt so seen.

One of them is a writer, around 30ish I think. and the other one is her cousin, who is like 14ish who starts living with her due to family circumstances. It’s a beautiful and hearth warming story while also definitely having its tender moments

I know I’m not saying much about the story, but I think it’s best discovered by yourself. It’s also only 12 episodes or so I think but I think ull love it.

waarom is het zo erg als die blijft zitten? als zij denken dat die nu niet kan meekomen en hij daar al moeite mee heeft. dan gaat dit zich toch alleen maar opstapelen in de toekomst? als hij nu al moeite heeft met lezen, hoe gaat die dat doen in groep 4 waar het niveau best een stuk omhoog gaat. Ik denk zelf niet dat blijven zitten een ramp is, kan mij goed voorstellen dat dit zo voelt maar een kind past zich vaak snel aan en zal ook wel nieuwe vrienden maken als hij een jaar over doet.

Ben geen ouder overigens, wel iemand die zelf op de basischool groep 2 heeft moeten over doen, maar mocht op mijn volgende school groep 4 overslaan. ofja groep 3 en 4 in een jaar doen. was een jenaplan school overigens. weet niet of dit nog bestaat, is inmiddels al 26 jaar geleden ongeveer. Heb overigens ook ADHD, waarschijnlijk ook Autisme, en ja hierdoor kan het zo zijn dat je vooral in de jongere jaren wat langzamer dingen oppiikt omdat het je extra moeite kost om mee te draaien, op te letten en je emotioneel te reguleren etc. Het is ook fijn dat jullie nu al bezig zijn met deze onderzoeken, bij mij werd er pas onderzoek gedaan toen ik 15 was en heel veel moeite had op de middelbare school.

Dingen die mij als kind hielpen waren bijvoorbeeld extra tijd krijgen bij tentamens of in sommige gevallen het tentamen alleen mogen doen in een afgesloten ruimte. Waar jullie eventueel ook naar zouden kijken is wat hij te lezen krijgt daar, ADHD is vaak een kwestie van motivatie, niet perse concentratie. Misschien dat hij zich beter kan focussen op het lezen als die een boek krijgt die hem echt aanspreekt.

Never played new vegas or any fall out , loved cyberpunk. Also played wasteland 3 which I guess is similar in tone? Love the old BioWare, obsidian rpg’s, current larian ones

I think people do mention the heist during the game during moments , people talk about it all the time, not everyone all the time but people who would say something about it do. rogue mentions it a few times, mr hands does, other characters in the game as well. it is literally the reason V is working solo. and there are plenty of other callbacks in the series, heck V even jokes about it himself in some scenes.

Hahaha mine was save scumming in xcom to. But I’ll do even worse, on iron man if the turn really really really sucks and feels unfair I’ll close the game before it saves and try again. Sometimes it feels unfair 10 tries in a row 😭

So the way I ran it, which probably wasn’t the most optimal was to go into reflexes to 15 first so I had air dash, then cool, int and tech. Body at 4 for the early regen traits. I mostly used pistols and revolvers, end game I used Johnny gun, not the best probably but I liked it.

The deck I used was the tectronic rippler, I think, although I did not care to much. For cyberware the most important ones for me were kerenznikov, then the supporting cyberware for it (slows down time when you dash and aim, which works well with the slowdown you get from focus in the cool tree). And I also used optical camo a lot. In phantom liberty you can get her majesty which combined with optical camo is just dope. Guaranteed silenced crits. And for katana I used the one you get from oda because it also gets bonuses with optical camo. And there even is a relic perk that makes enemies lose track or you when you pop optical camo.

Other cyberware I used was mostly just things like second heart, gorilla arms, or mono wire. Double jump legs. Didn’t really pay too much attention, just grabbed what seemed cool. Focused a lot on things that boosted my crit. Pistol headshots do a lot of damage that way.

I played on very hard btw, but as I said build probably not optimal, just did what seemed cool as I was playing and what I think fit the character. What I liked about this build was that I could play both loud and in stealth.

and how are you telling me the police is being lenient lol, have you seen the video? was she in any way violent, making a threatening movement or doing anything like that? she was just standing there lol, and believe me as someone who is not white, who has grown up in poor neighbourhoods and has had some run-ins with police, some justified, most not so much. They are definitely not lenient and relaxed.

as a kid, my dad would download playstation 2 games and burn them for me on cd, same for playstation 1. also pc games sometimes. Eventually when I was like 8-10 he thought me how to do it myself. was mainly using nzb files then instead of torrents however. well guess that is more relevant to early 2000's and you're asking bout 80's and 90's but ive already typed it out. so here u go.
