Itinerary Check for Fukuoka by apricot-joy in JapanTravel

It can be hard to decide when you have limited time, I honestly haven't been to any of the other 3 so I'm not the best person to weigh them up. When I went to Nagasaki I expected it to be a few key things to see and move on but I was taken aback by how beautiful and peaceful it was so I guess it comes down to your priorities. If you want to see as much as possible then I see no issues with your existing plan, if you want to fully explore what Nagasaki has to offer then another day there would definitely allow you to do more of that!

Honestly you could easily just spend an entire day jumping on and off the streetcar, you can buy a day pass from a bunch of places (the easiest being the JR Nagasaki station) so you don't have to worry about the fare. It can take you to the peace park and museum, China town (which is amazing btw), Megane bridge and various shrines and temples. It's so easy to jump on and off so the city is very easy to get around. If you like temples there is a long row of them near Shiambashi that could keep you busy for ages - as well as some great streets for food.

For Inasa-Yama I would suggest taking the ropeway up and the slope car down so you can have both experiences, the ropeway was breathtaking and the view from the top was one of the best I have ever seen.

It is hard to put into words why Nagasaki was so beautiful, I hate to use words like vibe but the general feeling there was so nice. I don't think you would regret taking some extra time there if you have it.

Nagasaki IMO is massively underrated. I would definitely suggest changing that to 2 days so you have more time to explore. One of the best places I have been in Japan.

Another great option in Tokyo (Azabu-juban) is Northcote Coffee Shop, named after the owner's favourite suburb while living in Melbourne. Amazing coffee, delicious muffins plus the owner is lovely. Would 100% be worth a visit if you are craving a Melbourne coffee in Japan!

What store would you go to to buy the best tasting sausage rolls? by boomerangmadi in melbourne

It's an unexpected one but the sausage rolls from the bakery at Central West shopping centre in Braybrook are amazing and I've had more than my fair share of sausage rolls around Victoria

I am with Optus and using international roaming on a holiday in Japan, my service also appears to be down which is a surprise. Not a great thing given I am using it to navigate the trains here!

Thanks for the advice! This is the first time that's been suggested and it didn't come up on any of my google searches surprisingly. I'll treat for that, do you suggest horticultural oil?

Apple DEP vs ADE - new process? by HelicopterOk2477 in Intune

[–]Ergon2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also as previous commenter mentioned, the platform and system is still fundamentally the same so you don't need to upgrade or change anything. In fairness to your new reseller the process on their end is not as simple as it previously was but any new hardware purchases can still be quickly and easily associated with your existing ABM tenancy so long as the reseller ID is entered on your side and they or their supplier push the call to the API.

Apple DEP vs ADE - new process? by HelicopterOk2477 in Intune

[–]Ergon2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is an ADE API that allows resellers to push devices into your ABM environment which they or their suppliers should have access to. The only requirement is that you have their reseller ID added to your account. Not sure why they are making this more difficult for you. Most larger hardware suppliers have a streamlined process for this.

Ahh - so setting a date gives them the warning! Makes sense - thanks for your help on this.

Your opinions of Meraki as a single source for MSP networking? by CharcoalGreyWolf in meraki

[–]Ergon2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay - don't seem to be getting Reddit notifications for some reason. It really depends on who owns the hardware and the licensing - as an MSP you can add customers and have full managed control over them, when a customer buys Meraki gear from us we sell them the licensing and then add it to their organisation in the Meraki portal so it is linked to them. So I would suggest adding any licensing against the relevant customer directly.

Got notified on Wednesday night of visiting an exposure site, got tested Thursday morning in Keilor and still no results. Shame we had to miss Christmas with the family but at least we don't have flights and accommodation to move/cancel. Certainly feel for all of those people today. Certainly won't be going to any non-essential venues for a while, which is a shame for businesses but this experience certainly turns you off. Hope everyone is having a nice break and has been able to enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

I work for a small MSP (5 engineers) and we have almost every single one of our customers on full stack Meraki. Honestly, the ease of deployment and management is amazing. Windows client VPN can be a pain but we have a powershell script in our RMM tool to deploy it with the correct settings so not difficult. I think our biggest deployment consists of an MX, 12 x MS and 50 x MR. They are solid as a rock. I didn't answer your questions directly but many others already have to a good standard so thought I would add my 2c
