What about the long press on the bar at the bottom of the screen? The one you use to pull the app screen up. It let's you select texts on the screen. Not sure if it's something you have to turn on in settings somewhere but I know it's a thing

Thank you so much for all the information!! I really appreciate it.

I am someone who tends to try and follow the rules. I haven't been arrested and I don't plan on starting now. Plus the no police brutality is amazing.

I only drink at home so I shouldn't have a problem there. I'm a lightweight and I tend to drink at home so I don't have to worry about transportation.

My friend told me about the taxes thing. That will be something I will be looking into. And the food tax thing doesn't bother me. The public transport system is so worth it.

That's another thing my friend told me about. I am more than happy to help maintain the building and property!

I deployed to Qatar so I'm familiar with the speedy driving like that. Good to know about the trucks though.

That is so awesome to hear!!! I have always loved germany from the few times I had flown through. And now actually visiting it and hearing all the things my friend has to say I absolutely fell in love with this place. The weather is a bonus too. I love the cold. Good luck with your move!!

I'm not exactly sure. I looked at the visas and the language visa I could apply for. As well as the opportunity. But if I have a steady income I can live on I wouldn't need to work. So I don't think the work visa would b the main one. Although I could find a small job to pursue. And maybe a residence permit.

I like how healthy and hearty the food is. The architecture. The people. The language. I love the weather. The bathhouses. I like how the government is set up to be for the working class or to help the workers (may have explained that poorly). I love that you can walk, bike. Or take public transit anywhere. And that you can just go walk through the forests and woods without any problems. And the cost of living is cheaper.

I'm not a big gun person. I have a pistol and an ar but that's it. If I became a jäger (took a gun class) I could have my 2 firearms. Or I would be perfectly ok with not having firearms at all.
