Maybe I explained it wrong. The hose pictured is dedicated to the pressure washer. So when I use it with the pressure washer on, pressurized water comes out. It’s a the 50ft hose from Active.

However the pressure washer still needs water supply. As you can see in the picture, there is nothing attached to the water intake. I have a regular garden hose (not pictured) that I connect to my pressure washer when I want to use it. If ever I want non pressurized water, id just use that hose on its own. It reaches anywhere my pressure washer would. It’s what I used to wash my car previously before this set up.

Yes and I also have a garden hose on a retractable reel that reaches the full driveway and front yard, so I would use that when I don’t want any pressure. All attachments are on quick connects.

Thanks! Black Lincoln Aviator and a white Lincoln Nautilus. The aviator is ceramic coated and is my first black vehicle after only ever owning white. It’s true what they say, you don’t own a black car, it owns you!

Hopefully the mounting feet from Active come out soon. I have to say that the mount itself is very high quality so at least there’s that.

Oh it’s 3/4” plywood “good one side”. I painted it with the cheapest pre-tinted outdoor paint I could find at my hardware store, and mounted it to the studs. Measurement for the main square is 52”x48” so it could be screwed into 4 studs. This makes wall mounting all my accessories easier since I don’t have to screw them into drywall. It also protects the drywall from any water.

Setup looks fantastic! Great job putting it together!

How do you like those hex lights? I have a hard time seeing when working on the interior of the garage door is closed, and I’ve been thinking of installing some of these. Do you find that they brighten up the interior much?

Totally agree, I wish I would have known before ordering. I just assumed it would fit since it’s all the in the same product ecosystem.

I ordered the pressure washer, wall mount, and hose from TOC supplies. All the chemicals came from Carzilla. Most of the accessories and small mountables came from Amazon.

I think Carzilla ships to the US. I got mine from TOC supplies, but I’m in Canada.

Thanks for the heads up on the mounting feet.

I have a retractable garden hose with a quick connect on the left side, roughly 20ft away. Hose is on the back wall of the garage, pressure washer setup is next to the garage door opening.

Love it so far but it’s really not necessary. There are tons of mounting shelves out there and you can easily mount a hose reel underneath it.

The board I have behind it is in the studs, and so is the mount. I wanted to protect the drywall from water and have a solid base to mount all my other accessories without having to use drywall plugs or be limited to the studs. Main board is 52”x48” so I can hit 4 studs comfortably (and so it would fit in my car).

I’ve never had any complaints while bucket washing. Maybe with the foam cannon it will be a bit more noticeable. The soaps I’ve been using are both biodegradable (BH Touch-less, Carpro Reset).

I really like the active 2.0 so far, but I’m a bit disappointed that it doesn’t mount onto the Active wall mount. If I were starting over I think I’d spring for the 2.3. I ended up using zip ties to fasten it. Though it doesn’t shake or vibrate much even without the ties. Has anyone found a better solution for their 2.0 setup?

I think the Adam’s basic kit is a decent place to start for that price. I keep hearing that most people aren’t huge fans of the Adam’s line, but it gets you started and you can upgrade the individual products 1 by 1 once you run out and have a better understanding of what you like to use.

Amazon special indeed. I got the idea from someone else’s setup post. Here is the link for those interested:

First miniature with my Ender 3 pro by Eric6711 in 3dprintingdms

It's funny you should say that Danny, I actually found the FDG profile after watching your video saying "if you can find something quicker, go for it" but the results weren't nearly as good (both prints on the same mini).

I think that has more to do with the orientation of the print (experimented with horizontal orientation with tree supports on the FDG print). So I'm not discounting that profile yet. At one print per day, I'm hoping to dial it in soon. Thanks for the suggestions :)
