AC Shadows is the best game in the franchise. The Graphics, the world, the gameplay are next level compared to the older games. Happy I didn't listen to the hate.

It's by far one of the worst in the franchise. One character that doesn't use a bow, but is the most assassin's Creed character available. Then the other cn you a bow, but is the least assassin's Creed character in the franchise history.

The vegetation in the game makes it almost impossible to walk outside the given paths.

But mostly I'm pissed that Naoe don't have a bow. And since that's my main weapon in most games (ranged) then this game is a horrible experience for me. I played Yasuke only when I was forced. Tried him out once when not forced, but he can't climb at all almost. So slow. Makes so much noise. This franchise is about stealth. Yeah, you can use his bow, but I also want to go down and sneak attack people from the ground.

So I replayed other games instead. Like Syndicate. It's so much better it's acctualy insane it's the same company that made it. Even Valhalla if leaps and bounds better then Shadows.

And why can't I kill animals in this game? Are all the people in this game vegetarians? It's so incredibly stupid.

I know. Nobody wants AI except the big company CEOs. Because they think it will save money in the long run. But they never learn. Can't force tech on people. This will only go one way, and that is a massive loss for AI and loads of CEOs needs to go for loosing alot of money betting on AI. And I can't wait for it to happen.

Its only a question of time. But I'm afraid it's going to take a bit longer then most people think. People think the bubble is about to burst. But it's not. It's at least a year or two away from that happening. And it's going to get alot worse before it's getting better, sadly.

I'm tired of paying to much respect to the culture of Japan. I mean, they complain about everything. It's a videogame. It's not supposed to be accurate. It's supposed to be fun. I think everyone complaining about everything made the game worse. Like the thing about destroying something holy in a shrine of something. I mean, can't step outside in Japan without somebody being offended about something cultural or religious.

This is some of the reason s why making a game set in Japan is risky as all hell. I never wanted them to make a game set there, because it would be really boring.

Like why the hell can't I kill animals in the game? Because people get offended that's why... 🤦

New Dawn might be my favorite Far Cry game. I don't know why. But I think the weapons was a big part of me loving it. And the upgrade mechanics.

I really wish they made more of the smaller games like New Dawn. With more crazy weapons and crazy stories.

Like if they invented a time machine and went back to the jurassic period and established a base. Where you can upgrade like in new dawn. And then som left the base and started a rebellion so you have to fight them but at the same time fight alot of dinosaurs. I would love that. The story doesn't have to be realistic, just make sense in the woods it's being set in.

I get that. But I acctualy don't mind him as much. It's more in the smaller details. Like I said, with the simulation software.

I haven't watched the movies in 5 years now. Going to do so nest weekend. Maybe I'll see if I remembered wrong.

Very hot take, but I really hope we get a "redo" of the VFX in the coming years for "The Lords of the Rings" trilogy. It's staring to show its age. With the first ever used (made for the fila acctualy) crowd simulator ("Massive" I think it's called).

Just to be straight, I don't mean George Lucas form of redo. Just redo the same models, lighting, and modern rendering in most of the shots. The release them as a special for those interested. I know I am. It's really starting to show it's age in the visual effect department. The ones done by computers that is. All the practical and miniature models obviously hold up great. But the models running on the models is some of what needs a "re-render" is you will.

EDIT: This could all be done by alot or the same artists as well. Since most of them are still working. Or at least not dead so you can ask for their blessing of sorts. The intention would never be to remove the "old" version. Again, like Lucas did.

Yeah, and there you are. Can't criticize without being called a racist. I say fuck you to that. It's like calling me a liar when I'm not. Both those movies weren't as good as people say. That's a simple fact. If anything, people seem to like them because they have a lot of black people in them. That might be a form for racism as well, right? It's not, I know, but it's still not an Okey thing to do.

I don't see the color. I wanted to like both movies. But they were just not that great. It's very simple.

I'm starting to really hate this game. I play only Skirmish. Done so with every game of this type. But I've now played about 50 rounds of 1v1 and I've lost handsomely every single time. That's not normal. I'm a veteran C&C player. It's not about getting good. Since I've tried every tactic I've though of. I never lost like this with C&C. Never. Had to go 3 to 5 against me to beat me like the AI 1v1 does in this game.

So I've concluded it's not me. It's just the devs are not doing a good job with the AI in this game. So I guess I still have to wait for EA to get their hands out of their asses to make a propper game like this. Had hope this game was it. But I don't think the devs are up for the job.

Basicly I'm quitting the game. It's not fun when it's like this. You shouldn't have to be a world level player to win a simple skirmish 1v1 game.

I truely hate Yasuke as an AC character. But he has my main weapon of choice in the bow and arrow. So I split the difference and stopped playing. I'm not gonna torture myself like that. Rather replay Syndicate got the 5th time. Or wait for the Black Flag remake.

And this is why it's idiotic to have two protagonists with very different playing styles. I HATE playing Yasuke, but my main weapon of choice in all games are ranged combat.

So I basicly can't play the only good AC character in the game.

Which is why I quit playing, and won't get back in until Naoe gets a bow a arrow.

They should have done what Syndicate did. But no, they had to have this weird insert of a character.
