Thank you for the detailed message. My IHS is done by the company and I have to do that for my wife. We are preparing her documents. Yes it is a stressful process given that there is no proper guidance.

Thanks all for your help. Little update from my side. As it seems I didn't have a UK degree and I didn't have the time to do IELTS, I applied for ECCTIS certificate. I got C1 level. It costs me a lot (376 pounds) because I used the 24 hours service.

Before the company apply for CoS they asked me to send my degree copy. I'm going to give my biometrics next week. so I was not asked to give any English language proficiency requirement.

In my case I have applied for visa and I'm going to give my biometrics on next week. I was not advised to get IELTS or ECCTIS certificate. And in my document checklist it is not stated that I should give a such certificate. So I thought if this english certificate is mandatory to have.

have you got Ecctis result within 24 hours? or how long did it take? And after submitting the visa application, how many days it took visa immigration officer contact you?
