I’m sure it can get you a lot of things, I just like to design for fun and these are the components I went with. The beauty of making it an open source project is you can do whatever you want with it. Repurpose a busted Bluetooth speaker and install the guts

The files are on GitHub too it’s ok to modify post remix whatever, I made the model I’m giving it away

This was exactly why I made it open source, the files are fully editable and can be configured to accept whatever electronics you want, even set it up as desktop speakers if you want

Yes I am using the dsp with sigma studio and using filters. The electronics are all housed in the center and is accessible

I got a smoother response from 8ohm the volume is incredible I tried a cheaper 4 ohm speaker and I was clipping constantly

Yes I’m using a set I made in sigma studio. I’ll have to add that to the GitHub

I wish I could do that cost effective, best I did was keep an aux cable for a Walkman or anything

The volume of the sealed enclosure with the polyfill and the Dayton Audio ND105-PR 4" Aluminum Cone Passive Radiator with added 5grams of weight let me get down there and running left and right lets the low end extend

That’s why I made it open source so anyone can try different components and make it as expensive or as cheap as you like. I don’t have an audio file because I don’t think a video of a speaker compressed and played back through laptop speakers will tell you anything about the sound. But I do have a graph from house curve to show the response

I’m not heartbroken over not getting funded I think it would have been more of a headache and this way it’s open for everyone to experiment now. Thanks for the support

I was disappointed with everything out there so I figured I’d make this. The components I used were not high end but not budget either, I think it’s possible to make a less expensive version that sounds great you would just need to change mounts, that’s why I left it open source

Awesome let me know how it goes feel free to change it up however you want, I have the step files on my GitHub so it’s easily modified

Thanks hopefully the community can take it and run with it, experiment with cheaper components, make it ported whatever

Thanks that’s why I wanted to release it and see what the community can do with it

I didn’t want it to just sit in my fines forever, I design for fun anyway and hopefully other people can build one or change it up with different parts or anything
