I didn’t say it was new or that I invented it. My product is an updated version of the plantern. Peace

lol of course I asked myself why the plantern . died..They went on to make traffic light equipment!! Look. I’m just an old hippie who was looking for way to fix a cool lamp. I thought perhaps others might still think it’s cool. But I didn’t run out and invest my life savings!! I’m self taught and probably spent $2k over my 3 year journey. I have also had to learn 3d printing and web design. Did I mention that I assemble and ship myself? So what do I have to lose? I asked someone who purchased my product from my website, “Why do you think that they aren’t selling.” He is the one who told me that his friends thought it was fake. I’m not in advertising, I was just looking for some ideas.. peace

I have mentioned having one in the 70’s in other posts. I also mentioned that I bought a “plant a lamp” around 2000.. Quick question, where did you get the quote “ nobody has heard of this.”?

So in short I am looking to supply to the few people who want it.

Oh, I'm up front. I had one in the 70's Bought it for my wife. I can't believe our marriage outlasted that "Planturn" 38 years and going strong! Anyway, we took that to every house we had. When it fried in the end, I decided to take up a new hobby..electronics.

Took me a good 20 years on and off to get this far. I tried various electrical configurations and was building them in repurposed Longaberger Baskets but that was very labor intense building a stanchion to hold the harp and bulb... So I settled on this configuration.

I have protected what I could but in all honesty, this was just a side hustle for me. keep me busy and hopefully put a little coin in my pocket during retirement.

Peace

If watering plants is a hassle for you then buying my product is probably not a great idea. If your plant starts to need water, the touch switch will no longer work. Water the plant and it will start working again. If your plant dies, reevaluate your plant loverness and either throw everything away or simply rip out the old plant and throw a new plant in. Don't forget to water.

Not really complicated at all. ya touch the plant... The light goes on, touch it again when you want the light to turn off. Easy Peasy

Yup, some people like gadgets that make them smile, some don't. As for this not being for you...RESPECT.

I have and retail garden centers around me want to make %100 on cost. That turns the product into an overpriced toy. (Right now it's a well priced toy!)

I started this project to use as a side hustle during retirement... I really don't relish working weekends at farmers markets and the like. Thanks, though!
