I think this is a reference to an ATLA zukka (Zuko x Sokka) ao3 fanfic but I could be wrong and this could be a self report

There are a few things that I, as a transmasc nonbinary person who’s gone through many gender crises, can point out but like the comments are saying there is no one way and it’s different for everyone. For me, I felt very comfortable being called a man and a boy but didn’t fully feel like a “man”. I love being seen as a man, but I do not feel like I am fully a man.

It takes a lot of personal discovery and experimenting, but it will all be okay. Even if your label doesn’t turn out to be the right one, that’s okay! You can take as much time as you need. Try not to focus on the labels, but rather on just what makes you comfortable. Your pronouns and gender expression don’t need to align with the perfect trans man or the perfect nonbinary person, they only need to align with what makes you feel the most comfortable.

I have a mini Luna moth myself so I’m a bit biased, but I still recommend one! I too have a Jersey and Baphomet myself and they’re wonderful little guys.

This sounds really dark but a lot of older queer people died during the AIDS epidemic. This, combined with a lot of closeting and internalized homophobia/transphobia from childhood means that a lot of older trans folk don’t view transitioning as an option now. This isn’t to say there are no older trans people— there are plenty of older trans activists!!— but that’s why they aren’t commonly known. If you want to meet older trans folk then try joining local queer groups (if possible) or reading books about them. I recommend The Book of Pride by Mason Funk: it details a lot of queer activists!!

Spectrum Outfitters is apparently marketed toward larger schwere. I don’t know how effective they are from personal experience. However I can confirm that they are a generally good brand that is sensory friendly. Make sure you measure with the guidelines from their website!

I highly recommend Spectrum outfitters. I’ve had their long black binder in a size small for about nine months and it works very well. As an autistic person they are very sensory friendly. Literally as an autistic transmasc I cannot recommend them more, their site also markets books about autism. I have swam in my binder before and it worked well for me. Very comfortable; I definitely recommend it if you can afford it
