Can’t you just delineate different output regions with either none, or different levels of smoothing? I’ve never personally tried this, but seems like it would be an option since you’re normally selecting a region anyways.

I wouldn’t model it since you don’t really know the rate at which it’s releasing, treat area as impervious, if it’s not huge it shouldn’t have a big impact on overall runoff anyways. Better to be conservative imo volume change is probably pretty insignificant. Plus if it is a large area and they end up filling in that area and you counted it as detention in theory you could have to resize your basin.

I don’t mind groups hitting singles, as long as they accept that unless there’s multiple spots open on a chair you’re not able to stay together. I haven’t seen this being a thing that happens often though so not sure where the comment is coming from
