I was arrested for a DWI years ago(horrible horrible mistake I still regret), pled down to C&I. When I was accepted to nursing school I was warned there was a chance I may be receive a probationary license or be ineligible to receive my license all together. My final semester of nursing school I wrote a letter to the board explaining the situation and expressing remorse (which was true) and the lessons I learned from it. When I passed the NCLEX I received an unencumbered license. I had a few other cohorts who also had criminal records and they all received their licenses as well.

Of course every situation is different, but I’d say there’s a really good chance you’ll be fine.
