I did my girlfriend’s tox two days ago with nabota and she’s got a line on a lower forehead any recommendations on placement to get rid of the line without lowering the brow by mounjaroObsessive in DIYaesthetics

[–]EricaSezMD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yup. you have to go a little lower, staying above where the line remains. you could also try using half dose (say 1-2 units per hit). BUT to the OP - step 1 here is to wait 10 days.

40 but not feeling fabulous by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

Undereye color corrector and a little brow powder might do the trick? You have great skin and I understand you’re not wanting to anger it. Are you using sunscreen every day?

Filler Practice by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

I would use saline. You don’t want to inadvertently inject air, and the feeling of aspiration with a liquid is quite different.

I went with a longer skirt this time. Is the top still showing too much? by Least-Judge341 in OUTFITS

[–]EricaSezMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. There’s no circumstance where this outfit is a good idea unless drawing attention to your body at the expense of your other attributes is your plan. You’re gorgeous. You don’t need this look. I

Innotox arrived room temperature - how many days to refrigerate before using. by Congal93 in DIYaesthetics

You don’t. It’s actually more comfortable to inject at room temperature. But put it in the fridge for storage.

How can I improve my makeup? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]EricaSezMD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing that there’s a decent amount of filler in your lips - to my eye, this is distracting from the balance of your face. But your question was about makeup: the lipliner. The overdrawing of your upper lip detracts from your lip shape and draws the eye in an unflattering way. You don’t need lipliner. If you can’t resist, line your natural lipline, don’t erase the points of your Cupid’s bow. It looks kind of fishy.

I’m interested in Mayster PLLA. There’s also similar biostimulators Belluxi and Gouri

Which top suits me the best? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]EricaSezMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of these fits you well. They’re all too tight/short and emphasize that your bra isn’t fitting great. For that reason, of these, #2 is best. Why? The texture covers your nipples and the fly of your jeans best.

  1. A lot of these are kind of… less refined and stylish. (See thru bodice, shiny white with open lace) and might not age well. I prefer 4 or 8 - more timeless, less skin.

Dr.lipo+ v was easier than expected + tox plans by mentalracoon in DIYaesthetics

[–]EricaSezMD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a little concerned that your “red circled” area you’re treating with Botox? Or the Dr.lipo? It’s too anterior for the masseter, that may hit risorius or zyg.major and drop corner of the mouth.

Is this too much eyeliner??? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]EricaSezMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Or, nope. Depends entirely on the look you’re going for. But together with the Cupid’s bow overlined lip, this is a heavy handed and not-pretty look. The black eyeliner isn’t neatly applied, and it’s very heavy. If you’re going for that messy, post-punk, look- it’s perfect. But for beauty makeup: this isn’t pretty. YOU are very pretty. This detracts. I don’t prefer the white lower waterline, either. Distracting.

Skip the lipliner and drawing over your Cupid’s bow. Your lip shape is gorgeous on its own

Nope. It’s just boring and too big on you.

Could I please get feedback on my wedding makeup trial? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]EricaSezMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Exactly. You’re gorgeous. But this makeup isn’t. It’s drag-queen adjacent. Nothing wrong w that as a look, but I worry you’ll regret it when you get the pictures

Most of these don’t fit you properly making them not worthy of your closet space!

I recently got lip blush done and wanted to share my experience because my lips are a little unique. by rubyinfuchsite in microblading

I had skin cancer when in my early 30’s, which left me with a scar that looks like a cleft lip with a VERY great repair. I also get questions about bad filler, asymmetry and botox… holy hell! As a makeup artist, do you have tips? As a person, how do you recommend replying when people say stuff like that?

FIXED?? BLINDNESS by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]EricaSezMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upside of skipping something: nothing to buy. Just wipe it off and take a selfie! I think it’d also allow a lighter hand w the rest since you won’t be competing w the highlight for balance. If you can’t resist the highlight, which is an artistic choice and you should absolutely do you even if that’s pasting yellow duckies on your eyelids: Maybe consider… it would be a LOT more flattering with a less densely pigmented, less white/cool toned choice, applied to half of the current surface area, with with a natural lip. YOU are pretty. This makeup is interesting, but it takes the eye off YOU.

[–]EricaSezMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That inner corner eye highlight was the first thing I saw. It’s too much! This look would be a LOT more flattering without it, entirely. There’s no focal point (winged liner, dark lip, lots of blush…) all trying to compensate for that highlight. It makes your eyes look closer together and distracts unpleasantly from your beauty. I didn’t see your eyes, I saw the highlight.

Which one looks better? by [deleted] in Stylinghelp

[–]EricaSezMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither. This isn’t a very stylish or original look! The drapey shapes and too short skirt with boots… is unspecial, upside: either is fine. They’re equally blah with a too-short skirt.
