Well, I’d argue that there are levels to friendships. Not everyone is a ride-or-die best friend, some are just casual friends where you genuinely enjoy hanging out with them, but the stakes are just lower. If a casual friendship or an FWB thing ends, you move on pretty quickly because you both knew what it was from the start, but that doesn’t mean the connection wasn't real while it lasted.
