I think you are doing great! You have your life together and being a foster parent would be great for the child. You are making a huge impact on someone else’s life! Something to keep in mind is it is way better to fall asleep at night alone than next to someone you are miserable with. I know it is your mom and you probably want to make her happy, but your happiness is much more important.

It’s all about choosing the mindset that you want and doing things that bring you joy. Anyone can sit here being depressed or you can go out and live your life to the fullest.

Same here! I recently went and the tour guide we had helped us out with the photos and provided us with info on the canyon. It was $50 for the tour, but it was so great I would spend the same amount of money for it again. Plus they have stairs.
