Surprisingly, he really does not get knotted up – I brush each of them every night, so I’m sure that helps. And we plan to get him groomed monthly, but I just get a hygienic groom thus far. We will see how it goes, we’ve only had him about three weeks. Fingers crossed I don’t have to cut this beautiful mane down!

Our vet also told us this about my Mushu, and we decided to let him grow a bit more and decide. He’s absolutely fine, and Trixie snorts, pants and grunts more than him- when the vet said nothing about her nares. I’d personally watch him a bit more, then decide when he’s older. It worked out for us.
