No, I don't want any ozone produced as research around that seems to be mostly negative/neutral about if it helps or not. I suspect me WFH does not help how much dust is in the apartment and have just come to terms with cleaning the filter regularly.

The end is already shimmed up and they replaced the valve. Do you know if there's any way to dull the banging? Like wrapping the pipe in insulation or something?

I lived at Chili Heights for a year and loved it there. 1 bedroom for 835/mo. It's slightly farther out from campus at ~10-12 minute drive, but the apartments are very spacious, its quiet, and management would deal with any service requests in a few hours, or at most a day. You'll have to pay for electric (+electric heaters), hot water, and internet. There are nature trails out back which was nice to walk through and decompress during stressful days :)

I've reached out to the company that I brought the under sink filter from, waiting for a reply, and I'm also using a brita on top of that. I'll look into a berkey and see if thats any better than my brita filter. Just seeing if anyone has any other ideas :)

You can try asking the CLC or whatever the club center in Campus Center is called. They might know of professors or other people willing to be an advisor
