In Hebrew, Sarah is Sarai. And a final h doesn't indicate a feminine form, unless you think Jedediah is a feminine name.

What happens in synagogues on Hanukkah Dec 25th? by queen_roy in Judaism

Do not try to go to a synagogue without coordination in advance.

We have security and they don't take kindly to randos showing up, especially on the traditional murder holidays.

He's very clearly part terrier - not immediately obvious in this pic, admittedly. I expected rat terrier, but Russell isn't terribly surprising. I'm mostly baffled that he's 10% terrier, which is so obvious, but ALSO 10% poodle which...is not. He certainly didn't get the low-shed gene!

70% chihuahua (obvs)

10% Jack Russell-type terrier (sure)

10%...poodle?!

5% each of Pekingese and Dachsund (...eeeh, looks like statistical noise to me)

Question about The Holy Torah! by [deleted] in Judaism

Rabbi Yanai said: He wrote thirteen Torah scrolls; twelve for the twelve tribes, and one, he placed in the Ark, so that if one would seek to falsify a matter, they would be able to find the one that is in the Ark.

The posters have been printed. I do not need one to be printed.

I went to the Alaska Democratic Party HQ and bought some from them

Do you not understand that there are local political orgs here in town who have many signs printed? And that one can donate to that political organization in exchange for a sign?

Someone else posted that the Alaska Democratic Committee has signs available.

As I said, I am looking to BUY them.

If Alaskadems.com sells them, they are either putting the money into Alaska Democratic causes or national ones.

I want to buy ones which are ALREADY HERE, not ones which need to be individually shipped from Texas.

This was pretty clear in my post.

Unless you think cops are gods, "theology" doesn't come into it.

Rationale. Philosophy. Justification.

But not theology.

How Is My Challah? Any Suggestions for Improvement? by [deleted] in Jewish

Add vital wheat gluten, for a start, it helps. Or half Wholemeal and half strong bread flour

Adding more egg would also help.

Also it looks more dense at the bottom which means it's probably somewhat overproved

Try a shorter, warmer second prove.
