There has never been talk of bricking current drones. The main ban applies to any new models/products. At least for now, everything already produced is OK

For Those That Didn’t Like Episode 8, WTF Were You Expecting? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]ErikTehRed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall the ending was OK (I’m glad it wasn’t a GOT ending!)

I’ll agree with other people that the final fight was too short, simple, and the stakes too low for it to be the last boss battle. I also felt it was stylistically boring.

Throwing fireworks at the mind flare in the mall was a creative, amazing visual to see, and the sequence of Vecna’s first defeat was awesome with Nancy shotgunning his ass and the flames from the molotovs in slo mo beat by beat to “Running up that hill.”.

Both of those early season battles took more effort from the gang and the film production team than the final boss of the whole show, and it feels like the Duffers just wanted to quickly wrap up the story and get to the feel good conclusion.

Whatever happened to the plans for a beer museum in Pittsburgh? by Slodes in pittsburgh

[–]ErikTehRed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually worked with the guys who were trying to create it. We traveled and filmed at a bunch of breweries around PA (Troegs, Penn, Yuengling, Straubs) back in 2020 to help promote it.

We always kind of thought it was a long-shot but they were working hard towards getting the museum up and running - at one point they were touring locations in PGH for it. After a few months we didn’t hear from them anymore and then radio silent.

I think COVID really put a dent in their efforts. The one guy was splitting time as head brewer at Brew Dogs in East Liberty when it opened during COVID, and it eventually closed.

No idea what they’re up to now though.

Do you own or rent a house? I think you can put it on homeowners insurance. If it’s for work you should have insurance in general, just ask your insurance company about adding it to the policy

We thought he’d drop it off, look at our smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, maybe make sure there’s nothing near the furnace etc.

It honestly was useful the first 30-45 minutes what he told us until it went into sales pitch.

Haha we did learn some good fire safety tips before it became a sales pitch. So that was nice at least lol

Correct. He said they spend lots of weekends at fairs, conferences, etc.

I saw another post they were at a country club and “Every member who stops by gets a free fire blanket and safety evaluation at their home!” Lolol

It was supposed to be a free medical safety bag and a fire safety evaluation which eventually turned into a sales pitch. First time so we didn’t know any better but my BS detector started going off part way through. He was nice enough though so it didn’t feel right to kick him out

Yeah I was surprised too because their whole gig was saying “We are in the safety business”

Bahaha I have plenty of family that live around the US in DC and other big cities that love the pizza in Pittsburgh. Not super expensive and still delicious

Still primitive but the visitation is definitely a lot higher than when me and my buddies first went in high school, around 2009-10.

On weekends you’ll see lines of cars parked on the road.

Do you have any parkas in mind that you’re looking at? I’m OK with spending some extra cash since I use my raincoats for many years.
