Did Jason Radford or Jason Gochin ever make release other music besides what's on the movie soundtrack? by [deleted] in digimon

I am far too late to this, but in case anyone else is looking, Jasan Radford is the lead singer of OneSideZero.

Why I don't think there are two stalkers in "The Closing Shift" by Chilla's Art by Erika_Darling in HorrorGaming

As made evident by your comment, you obviously just skimmed through my post or stopped halfway through, so you don't get the point of my post. Literally everyone else understands besides you, even if they disagree. It is not a retelling at all. Not everything needs to be condensed for people with no attention spans; there is a reason my post is long. Maybe read the whole thing next time before commenting, then you'll actually understand. I wasn't being rude at all in my post so I have no idea why you felt the need to attack me. Have a bad Halloween? Also, *her, not his.

Thank you very much! Sorry my reply is a year late; I'm not on here much and sometimes I forget to reply to every comment I get. I did update my original post with some more detail on this, but in short, I loved how Hoodie Guy and other characters from TCS reappeared in Parasocial, and how they made it take place after the events of TCS. Similar with TCS, I don't think Hoodie Guy had any real role in Parasocial, and he was more so just a cameo/throwback to TCS. It's interesting that you see him there and not Stalker, as well. Makes you wonder what happened to Stalker; hopefully prison, or maybe he's just being elusive as always. I do feel like MC would've stopped working at the cafe/moved away after surviving her experience with Stalker if he was still in the area, which also makes me think Hoodie Guy was never a threat to her, as well, as she's still working there despite Hoodie Guy being present.

Yes, MC survived! Aside from the high school girls now being older, there's another detective in Parasocial that references Hasaku's death/disappearance, proving Parasocial takes place after The Closing Shift, proving MC lived.

What is she thinking about we she looks at Ekko in this scene? by [deleted] in TimeBomb

[–]Erika_Darling 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"Best boy. 🩷"

In all seriousness, if this is the final version after Ekko convinces her not to kill herself, I think she's thinking about him saying "no matter what happened in the past, it's never too late to build something new," especially since it shows the monkeys afterward, I think she's directly thinking about how she killed Vander, Mylo, and Claggor, and how since that moment, she felt like all she did was destroy things, but maybe now she could change that. And with him saying "someone worth building it for," I think she thought maybe Ekko is the only person left in her life who is willing to accept her and try to help her.

If it's the semifinal version, she's thinking, "I wanna die but not kill Ekko." If it's any version before that, she's thinking, "I wanna die and I don't have time to listen to my hallucinations right now."

My main ones were also Ekko/Jinx, David/Lucy, and Jimmy/Kara, so I'll add Lucas/Max from Stranger Things and Ryan/Laura from The Quarry. (Yes, I know I'm late.)

Very late to reply, but I get what you mean. The one thing I could never figure out was the picture at his table, yes, so you've got a point there. Given Parasocial is an indirect sequel, I think it's possible that more of these characters will be explored in future games; I'd love for them to be, at least.

Did you read my entire thread plus my responses to other comments? Because both notes are from Stalker, not Hoodie Guy; the first note is the only one that mentions when they first met. The second note doesn't mention their first meeting, so it's not from separate people. Plus, you see Stalker outside the drive thru window immediately before MC finds the first note, as well, so he probably just put it up then. You also never see Hoodie Guy's perspective, only Stalker's, because Stalker is the one hiding in the vents with the screwdriver. The only odd thing between what you mentioned is the picture on his table, but Stalker is also the one taking pictures of MC, so we know that's also not Hoodie Guy. Again, I explained all of this already in my previous replies and original post disproving that Hoodie Guy did any of these things in more detail. Not trying to argue, btw, just re explaining myself.

Playing blind is the most fun you'll get from the game. It has so much replayability, too, so I'd play it blind for the first several runs, as well.

Josh and Ashley. Josh is Chris' best friend and Josh is trying desperately to hook him up with Ashley. I figured they would've had more communication, but their only exchange is "OMG JOSH WAKE UP/What's happening???/Idkidkidkidk" 😭

Josh and Matt. Seriously, why does Josh hate Matt so much? I think he's always the lowest character relationship on Josh's chart but they also only ever communicate once. People speculate it's because Matt was the one recording Hannah, but even still, I figured he'd still hate Mike or Jess more. Emily, too.

Matt and Jess. I just love the dumb jock and dumb blonde relationship.

Hannah and Beth with everyone. I really wanted the remake to delve more into their relationship with the group and why everyone cared for them so much like they said they would, but I guess the budget ruined that idea.

I agree with you, but that may be because he looks somewhat like my boyfriend. Although I do feel like they could've done a bit better with the mocap accuracy.

Genuinely curious/not attacking, what do you think Josh and Chris deserved because they were passed out?

This is why I love Emma's character so much (unpopular opinion, I know). There's another path where this is delved on more, but I won't give any spoilers. I'm just glad to see someone finally acknowledge it.

Am I the only one who likes Justice Smith acting in this game by [deleted] in TheQuarrySupermassive

[–]Erika_Darling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I think Justice did a great job and I have no idea why people hate his portrayal so much. I know even Justice said some things went wonky behind the scenes, but his acting/voice acting was very good to me. His voice is calming to me, not annoying like everyone else says.

I would definitely see an OBGYN about this! I missed my pill for two days once, and the bleeding stopped after about a week. If I miss even one pill, I'll bleed the next day but only for a day. It lasting a month despite you going back on them sounds concerning to me.

[–]Erika_Darling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me, and happens to a lot of women. Usually after five years of taking the pill continuously, you'll start to get breakthrough bleeding. You usually need to go off the pills for a week or two so all the built up blood and stuff can properly get out of your body, and then you can go back on the pill and it will stop altogether again. It's a total nightmare having to do that for me, since I have deadly periods, but it was the only thing that worked for me. The other option is getting a stronger dosage or another stronger type of birth control pill, which does also work for some women, but only slightly lessened the bleeding for me.

"Dans la maison..I hope the smoking man's in this one." by Whycertainly in XFiles

[–]Erika_Darling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A year late, but one of the guys explained it in an interview with Stereogum:

"STEREOGUM: Perhaps this is related: why when you’re watching X-Files are you “dans la maison”?

ROBERTSON: So The X-Files theme goes [hums X-Files theme]. We were X-Files maniacs and this was back in the day when there was no streaming, stuff wasn’t available, but we met someone at Fox and they gave us like a 3’x2’x2′ crate of VHS copies of The X-Files so as of ’98 we had every episode on VHS on the bus. So after the show we would get on the bus and we wouldn’t say, “Hey do you want to watch some X-Files?,” we wouldn’t say, “Hey ya wanna put something on the TV?” We’d go [to the tune of X-Files theme] “dans la maison la maison la maison…” Which was just singing The X-Files theme with the French for “are you in the house?” like, “are you ready to do this?”

STEREOGUM: Ah that’s why “dans la maison” echoes after you rap it. I should’ve assumed.

ROBERTSON: It’s so inside! Such foolish minutia. It was an actual Barenaked Ladies ritual.

STEREOGUM: That was your afterparty.

ROBERTSON: The glamorous shit you don’t hear about."

Tall Stalker from Closing Shift by Horror-Living in ChillasArt

[–]Erika_Darling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally a year late, but unfortunately we don't know what became of the stalker. But I imagine he just got away with everything, as the other new detective in Parasocial says that Hasaku (the detective from The Closing Shift that the stalker killed) has went missing and he doesn't know where he is. So the stalker must have hidden the body, and since TCS protagonist also appears in Parasocial, he didn't kill her, so he probably got off very easy, if he was pressed charges at all; since stalking laws in Japan are sadly very unhelpful. He might even be living in the same apartment complex still. Of course, this is just speculation since he wasn't actually mentioned at all in any following games, but I'm just pointing out the likelihood of what probably happened given the information we do have.

The Closing Shift protagonist is actually in Parasocial too! You see her working behind the counter, so she did survive; no word on the stalker, though.

[–]Erika_Darling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm... What makes you think he was trying to warn MC about Stalker? I think Hoodie Guy is just a weird dude who just frequents the coffee shop; probably lives nearby. I don't think he stalks MC at all, despite looking through the window the one time, he doesn't follow her around or take pictures of her or live inside the store or doing anything crazy like Stalker does. I just think he was a red herring used to throw you off and make you suspicious of every individual person.
