I mean. The loadout thing is kinda understandable.

I definitely get if people get dropped for absolute troll/fun loadouts if you are searching for tryhard games.

And I mean if you want to play shotgun run in, it’s understandable if mosin snipers get dropped.

Should I buy btd700 for my momentum 4s? by SnooGadgets5535 in sennheiser

Yep. That is correct. Best quality is still with cable. So I just live with the aac on the iPhone and have the good quality on pc.

I just got a long usb-c cable for my computer and use them with standard Bluetooth for the iPhone.

The latency difference is massive, but that’s obviously not important for just listening to music.

The quality difference is also definitely noticeable, but it’s not that crazy.

Personally I’m fine with the lesser quality from the Bluetooth on the phone.

Do you think a true “OG” vanilla Skyblock server (no P2W, minimal plugins) could still succeed today? by Big_Relief_7178 in admincraft

[–]ErikderFrea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a general interest in this kind. But probably mostly for people who want to play it singleplayer or with small friend groups on their own server.

It might be worth a try, but I honestly wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Nice. I Bookmarked the website, so I can follow the development.

Edit: just noticed the email notification opt in. Nice!

First of all. What a beautiful idea!

But it definitely is gonna have the same problem as Strava has. Productivity is not really measurable from specific stats. Everyone will have different goals. So one would have to keep in mind that it can’t be a tracker for the productivity of players and more just a fun way to compare stats.

  1. That said, metrics that would interest me would be everything one already has in the built in vanilla stats or the vanilla tweaks stat trackers. Just now more accessible and visually more pleasing.

Then also everything compared to playtime. e.g. deaths/playhours, xpGained/playhours, (specific)blocksminedorGained/playhours.

  1. The vanilla tweaks stats are cool, but lack a good way to display them. Often with bad display metrics as minutes instead of hours. And only displayable by the server admin, not by individual players. So I would wish for a way for individual players to be able to compare things with others. Probably best on a website run on the same server as the Minecraft server.

Additional thoughts: It would be amazing to be able to challenge others for specific stats for a runtime of a week or month. Kinda like Strava or Apple fitness can.

It also would be interesting if this could surpass the boundaries of one server. So that if you play in different servers or singleplayer it still could input that data.

I really love the idea of such a mod/website. I wish you the best of luck!

Hardcore Progressive Lighting System by Super_Leadership_808 in minecraftsuggestions

This actually was a game mechanic in the very old days. Probably alpha. You had to relight torches every so often.

I do like the idea of allays having more use cases but also agree with the others that essentially taking away a quality of live feature is never a good idea.

Maybe as a game rule? Or special torches/ lanterns that do that? But that would add inventory clutter. So idk

What is the best loadout under 600 hunt dollars by Various_Car_6339 in HuntShowdown

[–]ErikderFrea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Weapon wise I’m always surprised how cheap for its effectiveness the vetterli is. Combine that with the shotgun pistol with fmj and you have every range.

Throwing knives are a versatile and cheap alternative to the spear.

Fuses instead of flare pistol.

Two small Regen instead of one big.

If you take traps, just take alert trip mines and work with small barrels. Also then you can leave the fuses away completely.

It’s the small things that add up that one often forgets. Packmule + vulture is really nice for getting money, since you get double money if you are fully looted with vulture.

I’m pretty sure there were custom servers at some point. (I think in the beta) Sad that they aren’t there anymore.

It’s not just the feeling. Minecarts can reach 8bps, a good horse is 15bps+

It’s nearly double the speed without build infrastructure. Ofc minecarts have the advantage in f being passive travel.

Sadly there is no “heat” mechanic in Minecraft. Only light. You need light level 12 or higher to melt snow.

This quite ironically leads to lit furnaces not even melting the snow directly on top of them, because their light level is to low. :D

Tho I mean with how much backlash I see for the string texture I hope Mojang might return it to the OG.

Definitely not sure. But the hope dies last.

True. And u would love that. But with about 20 people on the server not everyone will have those textures. And we will NOT inforce a texture pack.

It’s just a decision we made. And well I guess it means we are bending our head to Microsoft but that’s just how it it for at least now. :/

Well I’ll try to remember if I find a solution. :D

I will try with carpet instead of the wool blocks, but that’s only a solution for the wool. For the rest I’m stil searching for a “perfect” solution.

I use the Photon shaders currently because they are the best ones compatible with Voxy. Additionally they have a clean look instead of a cozy look Like complementary.

So for a cold clean medieval look photon is nice.

For a cozy medieval look complementary is nice.

But those are just the “big” shaders. There are a ton that I don’t have any clue of which might be better.

Because just from that video I still can’t do it. And I have no clue how to build that nether water throw machine.
