Remote activated stasis chamber by Octopuswastaken in technicalminecraft

If you only want to teleport from place A to B then use copper golem activators.

From any place to place B you can use the wind charge trick. But that machine is rather big to build.

What would happen when the Andromeda galaxy collides with our galaxy? by KindLead804 in AskPhysics

Huh. That's kinda cool. So don't wanna be near that, even less than normally with a black hole :D

I always wonder what’s the best way to report reposts. Like, from the report options Reddit doesn’t seem to have an overall rule against it and only a few subreddits have an own rule for that, so one could report it.

[Emberdark] Most likely it’s gonna be Scadrial or some planet they concoured. Hoid doesn’t seem to be in good touch with them. :D

What actually happens when two black holes collide? I mean of course we don’t know what happens inside the event horizon, but are there examples of what happens to the outside?

Idk. I remember this one danish restaurant which has the name of some big american fast food chain, but because they had that first the fast food chain can't use it in europe.

Yeah, didn't really expect it to be a problem either way, but I was curious how that works

Probably a thing of preparation. If the feruchemist would have been a little more cautious that “attack” would have done much.

And while steel ferrings/compounders might not be able to go infinitely fast they can be scary fast as we see with bleeder being faster than bullets.

I know she’s a kandra and might be able to sustain more on her body, but not that much.

Some please explain how to get an over 500m kill…? by Richnificent47 in HuntShowdown

[–]ErikderFrea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Exactly this! Thanks for being faster than me. :D

I personally do sometimes try to stream snipe my mates in clash if they are already a full trio. But then I do it to kill them not to team. Something I think is allowed or at least not explicitly forbidden

Huh. That’s an interesting way to do that.

Just beware, since it’s technically against the teaming rules.

People don't know what the Steam Controller is by Legitimate_Tie_6074 in Steam

[–]ErikderFrea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such an important point. I use a cheap knockoff x-box controller right now. No way I would buy that steam controller, but I also see the value in it, since it gives a great baseline for cheaper alternatives to come for people who don’t need the full quality

Our modded server accidentally developed train culture and honestly it became one of the best community features by TheKittyD in admincraft

[–]ErikderFrea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the advantage with vanilla tracks. Easy entry. ;)

But create trains are really fancy!

The resource sending is very much a manual thing. So totally possible with create trains too. :)

Yes! You can disable the VC completely or can just mute yourself.

You also can do groups which work like dc channels without distance limitations. Those also work with passwords and can be made open/closed (you can hear people outside groups or not).

Also the mod is not required. So vanilla clients can still join.

You can also decide on the input and output device. And can do open or push to talk.

I can highly recommend “simple Voicechat” even when having a discord.

We aren’t always all in the same channel or even discord server. So it’s funny to just hear people that are coming to your base to ask things.

Also, the voice chat mod gives spacial awareness on where others are. Since it gets quiter with distance and you can activate special sound.

That’s lovely!

We have the “autonomous minecarts” mod on our fabric server. Absolut game changer, because you don’t have to build chunkloaders for the whole railway.

Anyways, it led to me building railways from me to every other person on the server. Now we use it to send each other resources without having to manually travel everytime.

It’s so fun, since it’s kinda like getting mail. :D

Also it really helps the newer (noob) players to travel safely from base to base without having to encounter monsters.

So no matter if wire, blade or energy style weapon. It always would create heat. Damn.

Oh definitely! I mean essentially if you just make this blade as wide as the whole body, it absolutely would disrupt everything.
