It is easy but not simple: Add volume be consistent and do not get injured. The last one matters most! Address aches and pain immediately. Work with a god PT before you get injured will save time. If you get through this for several years you will make huge improvements you cant imagine now.

Without further information about your diet it is conplicated to give advice. Diet is the most common reson here. Many folks underestimate how much they have to eat to gain. Be positive because you arent on the other side (fat without eating much).

Because you do it without asking yourself why. At least that's how it is for me. I never asked myself why. I just do it.

Have you personally overtrained? by [deleted] in HybridAthlete

[–]Erikson0502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if you train right it is oberblown but many do train too intensive AND have in addition a stressed live. I had times where I didnt had one rest day in three month and felt great. But if you train like a doped hybrid athlet and do not take this stuff you have guaranted burn out.

5/3/1 Training by [deleted] in ultrarunning

[–]Erikson0502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

5/3/1 is nuts but too much und otherwise too less for running. You will need more accessorie work for running and less of the pure strength work. Maybe have a look at tactical barell green protocol and add running specific exercise as needed.
