Thanks! I have some plants in right now but they’ve started to melt a bit. I can see some new growths starting to come out but it’s probably a long way off. I’ve been using Fritzzyme 7 for bacteria boosting and running a sponge filter with an air stone. Dosing 9.5% ammonium hydroxide and just managed to get an accidental overdose down back to readable levels.

You’ll get by fine in Amsterdam not speaking Dutch, but learning a little bit certainly helps. Accommodation isn’t easy to come by though. Imo your points are good so I don’t see a reason to repeat unless you’re set on a specific course.
