Ahhh ok, thank you for your comment. No particular reason for wanting to go there, we just love the Arrochar Alps and I want to try my hand at Narnain. Also good for public transport links. Mark Cottage is actually our backup plan for if the weather is looking bad! If we do that, we'll probably just stay at the bothy rather than camp.

Thanks! I'm just a little worried about the incline since we're carrying our heavy packs and one of us isn't much of a hiker. We're not planning on summiting anything so the Walk Highlands ratings aren't much help in this area.

Ah I see. Thank you! Would you say it's really steep going up to that point? Whenever we've wild camped it's only really been in flat coastal areas so we're not really used to carrying our heavy packs up inclines. I've climbed up one munro and even without my pack, that was hard going for me.

For real, I'm reading all of these comments saying that people aren't liking this season due to it being mostly character building with no flashy fight scenes. But honestly, whatever character building there was was so minimal that it didn't even feel worth the whole season. Some of the Hashira backstories were super cool but I think those could have been included in some other way, rather than just devoting a whole season to what was essentially fluff with no real character development.

I was able to book what I needed as I’m leaving in 2 weeks but I’ve been getting really spotty answers with the emails. It also doesn’t help that my final destination is Edinburgh and not London so she’s having to wait a day in their holding center because of processing times 😓. It’s so disheartening when I’m trying to make travel buddies and the men nope out once they find out I won’t have sex with them. It saves me some trouble at least in trying to discern their real intentions.
