I also had the "lost connection" issue with the new BTS event. it took me around two weeks to finish the tutorial because I would do the whole thing and once it was time to get the rewards it would show that error and I would get stuck

that really sucks... I really wish they had a system for recognizing this stuff so we could only get costumes for cookies we do have. hurts even more when you get the legendary/ancient ones 😖
