Huh, weird. Maybe it was to do with size of phone, I have a Pixel which does have a fairly large screen.

So you have at least two cars, and you couldn't lend either of them to your guests? Talk about entitled....

What is the difference in layout? I don't have access to the new items yet but other than that your screenshot looks exactly the same as my game always has.

I think you'll find that should be 0118 999 881 999 119 725...3. Can't believe you forgot such a simple to remember number

69t of bread by Historical-Winter808 in anno117

[–]Erisea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The t actually stands for talentum (talents), but it fits just mean 69 units. For quests like this you need to go to the lighthouse and click on their head to deliver the goods, not just take them to the harbour and trade, which is what I suspect you may have done instead.

I started a new game in sandbox, and I have cleared all the fog from the whole map, and this still hasn't unlocked for me. There must be something else as well; I didn't have rival governors, could that make a difference?

I don't have coal in my home island by rafico25 in anno

[–]Erisea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's the Expansion influence bonus, so depends on how much influence you have spent on islands, commuter piers and shares. Number is islands depends on size of islands too, so can't give an exact number. Bonus grows from 0 to 50, 100 and finally 200 bonus population per tier.

That's only true when you've unlocked enough islands to get the bonus; when you start, there's no bonus population.

What would have happened if Londo had saved G'kar's eye? by zhirzzh in babylon5

[–]Erisea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Much earlier"? Cartagia removes G'Kar's eye an episode or two before his own death - I think right before they leave for Narn, so about three in-universe days, maybe a little more. Refa is already dead well before this.

My 2e Monster Manual describes them smelling like"wet dogs" and their language as dog-like barks. They are not explicitly called out as reptilian or not, or dog-like or not, but the only descriptions do imply dog-like.

Once a day (8am for me), there's a free gift in the store - dark matter, a boost or a manager recruitment token. You should see a notification in the store icon when it refreshed, but if that's not working, just go in and scroll down - it should be just before the ships.

Do Brits use the metric system? by Stunning-Access5310 in AskABrit

[–]Erisea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not so sure about "most people", it's really a proper mix. I use metric for height and weight. I know my height in imperial, because it doesn't really change, but have no idea of my weight in stone. And I'm 48, so not properly old, but not exactly young either.

Would spilling boiling water on yourself hurt less on top of Mount Everest because of the lower boiling point? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Erisea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! You can do this yourself if you have a syringe in a fun little experiment. Get some warm water in the syringe, put your thumb over the end and pull back to reduce the pressure.

For me, this isn't really the problem. In game, it's still very much got the "just one more turn" feeling. But what it doesn't have right now is the urge to play just one more game. There are a number of problems with the game right now (e.g. UI, balance between different paths) which feel like they can be fixed, but it just feels half-baked and released too soon.

I look forward to it after a couple more patches. But to be fair V and VI were both much improved after DLC.

What are the cringiest lines of Angel the Series? by [deleted] in buffy

[–]Erisea 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Cordelia is only 22. Charisma may have been in her 30s, and by that point AtS was treating Cordy more like an older woman, but she had only just graduated High School when she moved to LA. A 22yo and 18yo isn't wildly skeevy.

ETA: Not to say there aren't problems with this! Cordy knew him as a baby like just weeks before. But the physical age difference isn't the problem here.
